Camping Begins!

Here I lie, in a tent at 2:00am!! We kind of got lost driving to the campground. Our three hour drive took us closer to 5 hours to get here!! My daughter was navigating and the cell service was Of and on most of the time. There was one long stretch when we lost service, and that’s when we got lost. She had screenshots of the map, but it took us the wrong way. Finally, when we got service, we called and talked to Keith and he gave us directions over the phone. We got back on track, but had gotten lost tonight that there was some back tracking to be done! So, we arrived at about 11:30pm, five hours later!!

When we got here, Keith and Claudia helped us get the tent set up. Keith actually ended up doing most of it. He had to use his hammer to get the pegs in. It was not much fun in the dark. The stupid darkness didn’t help!! My daughter and I blew up the air mattress that I’m lying in with the air-compressor. It makes an awful, whiney sound! Super loud for a quiet campground at 12:00 at night! For fifteen minutes straight! Lol. By the time we got settled, I sang to my son, he’s sleeping beside me. Then I figured out that there’s actually wifi here!! So, my data wasn’t working , but so far this wifi seems to be working! So, yay!! Now I just have to plug my phone into Claudia’s trailer tomorrow to charge my phone. This is pretty weird. I have not been camping in a very long long time. I hope we have a fun weekend ahead! It’s super d duper late! I’m going to bed!!

A Day For Registering!

This morning we (my oldest daughter and I) watched some of So You Think You Can Dance. We’re awfully behind! Good old PVR. However, I enjoy watching it. I always have! We just watch less shows in the summer, which is why we PVR everything. It was registration day for the high school. We still haven’t heard back from the student services lady about the phrase-ed mix-up. The school fees were $170. We had to pay them at home online, on power school. We had to fill in registration forms on power school as well. Then, she had to go in to the school to finish the registration process, get her student ID card and her locker picked. I think she’s starting to get a bit nervous that high school is actually starting soon!! New schools and high school too, are always a bit intimidating, but I know she’ll be fine.

Once she got home from school registration, we had to get ready for her dance registration. I had to get my 10 post-dated cheques ready. This year our payment has gone up by about $50 a month! We’re paying $267.50 monthly for our daughter to dance. This does not include competition fees, costumes, solos or duos, and shoes/dance-wear. Dance is not a cheap sport! We probably pay as much as hockey parents do, if not more! Crazy! However, she really loves it. It keeps her out of trouble and occupied. She has hardly any time left to herself, let alone time to get into trouble!! No, the benefits outweigh the costs. I believe!

Once we arrived at the studio and I filled out all of the forms, we went into Amanda’s office and she told us the monthly cost. I filled in my cheques for her. We chit chatted about general stuff. I remember a few years ago, how nervous my girl was for her dance registration, going to this new studio. Now it’s like old hat and she’s beyond comfortable at the studio.

After the studio, we drove to the Ardenes at Capilano mall. My daughter needed some new jeans and back to school clothes. While she was trying on her jeans, I found a 70%off rack. She went through the rack meticulously and found about 7 or 8 t-shirts. The price was so good! It was like $30 for 8 shirts. A very good price! That’s like a little less than $4 per shirt!! Then we also got three pairs of jeans, which were 30% off. So our total for her back to school clothes was about $122. That’s it! She got a $25 gift card for her birthday, so it actually cost me only about $97. Not bad for 3 pairs of jeans and 8 shirts!! Then we went next door to Winners. We found a school backpack that she really likes. It was only $24.99. Not bad at all!! I know that we’ve spent more than that on backpacks!!! We also bought her a new wallet made of really soft leather, for only &19.99. ! I bought some lip tattoo things. You put it on your lips, where you want it. It dries in about 10 minutes, then you peel it off and it leaves behind 10hr lip colour!! It’s supposed to tiny your lips! It sounded so cool, I wanted to try it! I’ll test the product out and let you all know what I think! The price was reasonable, only $9.99 for five tubes of different colours. I’ll take before and after photos to show you how it works. Of course I’ll let you know what the actual brand is called too!!

When we got home we made tacos for supper. They were good! They were fast too! My oldest believed that they’d take too long. But it only took us 25 minutes to prepare!! Yay us!! Afterwards, my hubby, my daughter (younger) and I sat and talked about how much camping would cost and whether or not we can afford it. I guess I’m going to go with my daughter (younger). We may or may not bring my son. If we do, we are not limited in how long we can be there. If we don’t bring him, I get s couple day break from him and time with just my daughter, but we have to come home Saturday night, because both my hubby and my oldest work Sunday, so there’s no one here to watch my son. Hmmmm…decisions decisions… I’m not sure what to do. I’m torn. I like the idea of a break. But, if we’re having fun, it’d be nice to have the option to stay longer if we want. Well, I’m beat, so…I’m going to sleep on it! I need some rest. Night All! 💤😴

Happy Birthday My Little One

Today’s my younger daughter’s birthday. My sweet little girl is now 15!!! I can hardly believe it! How does that even happen?? Time is a funny thing. It just seems to quick. She was just a little baby yesterday, wasn’t she?? It sure feels like just yesterday. It’s like I blinked and all these years passed me by. I don’t know how it happens, but I love her with all my heart. She’s turned into a beautiful young lady. She makes me laugh. She’s smart. Her dancing brings me joy. I’m very proud of her and hope she had a wonderful birthday and an exceptional 15th year😘

We didn’t really get her much, because for her birthday she wanted her hair coloured in a certain way. I don’t know how to spell it, but it’s what she really really wants. So we gave her money for that. She also got money from some of her friends, so she’s got enough to get the style that she wants. We just have to book the appointment. She’s hoping that she can get it done before school starts next week. I’m going to call tomorrow and book it for her. She’s super excited, she’s been asking for it for a very loooong time. Fingers crossed that they can get her in.

Tomorrow is her registration day. You go in, pay your school fees, get your locker, your photo ID, etc. School doesn’t actually begin until next week though. Tomorrow you just go in during a certain time, depending on your last name, do the few things I said and then you get to go home.

This morning my son and I slept in super late!! Probably because we went to bed way too late last night. His friend’s mom was here to pick him up to take him with them to the river and we were bloody sleeping!! Oops!!! So sorry!! I felt so bad. Here she is inviting him to join them and taking care of my child all day and we sleep in!! Jeepers! I feel awful about it! They did go and he had lots of fun. I just felt pretty bad about sleeping late!

I also completely missed feeding my daughter’s friends or being a good hostess in the morning. Slept through it all! Again, oops!! That was not my intention at all. It was so late when I went to bed and I forgot to set an alarm!

Once my son was gone, we, the girls and I, watched some of the Bachelorette. Those are pretty long episodes. I think that they’re each 2 house. She sent home an annoying guy on the show today. A guy that both of my daughter’s and I found him to be super phoney and a shit disturber and just a jerk to the other guys. So we were happy to see him go. I am glad she saw that he was a bit untrustworthy. You get into the show and begin to feel somewhat invested in the outcome. Which is probably exactly what the producers want you to feel.lol.

Around 4-4:30 I drove my daughter and her friends to West Edmonton Mall. They were going to Galaxy Land for her birthday. I got passes with my AirMiles, so it didn’t cost anything. So while they went to Galaxyland, I went to Winners and shopped around a bit. I ended up buying a Jean jacket and some things for the bathroom just toiletry type thing. Then I went to the movie. It was the first time that I went to a movie by myself. It was a little strange. That’s true! I saw “Girls Trip”. It was actually a pretty good. It was funny, sad, entertaining. Just a good movie overall. Once it was over, I met up with the girls. We walked to the car together and drove back to Beaumont. The girls wanted ice cream, so I took them through the McDonalds drive through, then drove them home. Then my daughter and I came home and got ready for bed. And here we are🍦. I’m so darn tired I’m going to bed right now. Night All! 💤😴

Birthday Party Day!!

Today was another full day of cleaning. Our house was a disaster and it’d been a while since we gave the main-floor a complete overhaul! It sure needed it! The day started out with my daughter’s meeting at the school with student services… someone somewhere made a mistake and now there is no record anywhere, according to the school, that my daughter completed her grade 19 gym this summer. There’s not even a record of her being enrolled in phys-ed 10!! So the girl we spoke with is contacting the outreach people and hopefully sorting it all out. We payed for that class! And she finished it with a very good mark too!!! The problem is that they won’t “officially” change her schedule and take out the phys-ed 10 until they receive official proof that she was registered in a completed the course. They have it all set up for her schedule to be changed, but, until they receive the evidence, they won’t change her schedule. The other problem is there were hardly any options available to replace the gym block. She could take welding, Spanish, but she’d lose her foods option. Or they could move her cosmetology class to a different time and put her in art. So she decided on the art. However, the cause she was currently registered in was with friends. She’d rather stay in her current cos class and just have a spare during phys-ed block. But, they don’t like grade ten’s having spares. She could really use an extra lock to work on homework. She could use the extra time for homework, considering how busy her dance schedule is throughout the year. The girl is supposed to be calling me about the phys-ed mix up after she talks to the correct people and hopefully is given evidence that proves that my daughter did indeed attend that phys-ed class! My hubby and I will not be happy campers if they cannot find anything. I can prove that I wrote a check for $100 to black gold for the class!! Too frustrating right!! The CAP form for her math was pretty easy. She just needs to fill out a form, we sign it, the crabby lady (at least she was when my older daughter attended that school – lol extremely crabby. To everyone parents and students!) signs it and the student services lady already signed it. Easily done, as long as the crabby lady doesn’t have a problem with it. Sigh…does everything have to be so complicated??!

After the meeting, we went to no frills to get hot dogs, smores ingredients, and chips. Then we went next door To the Dollar Tree and got paper plates, cups, napkins, cutlery, and we even lucked out and found roasting sticks!! We used to have lots, and now can’t seem to find them anywhere!! So I was happy to find some cheap ones. We had some good, more pricey ones, who knows where they are though!? From Dollar Tree we went to Sobeys. At Sobeys we got the hotdog buns, the cake, a veggie tray, and pop. We called that good and went home and started in on the cleaning.

My oldest went out back and finished the half of the lawn that my hubby didn’t get to. My younger daughter took care of the front entrance, I just went over the carpet by the front door – not because she didn’t do a good job, but because my stupid dog shed – again- all over it!! I vacuumed the entire main floor. It was furry quite grossly in many places. Anyway. We got the house looking pretty good, in my humble opinion. Just in time, became her friends began showing up for the party at about 5:00.

Hotdogs around the fire was at about 6:30. Then cake came next, around 7:30. They came inside the house and did presents around 8:00. Then the girls all went for a walk down to Bellevue Park and back. We, my son and my oldest, ran to Shoppers and bought a few things for my other daughter, since her real birthday is tomorrow. Once we got back, we watched the end of Big Brother. Then I played a “trick shot” ball game with my son, got ready for bed and I’m exhausted and really really ready to sleep!! Night All! 💤😴

Clean Clean Clean!!

Today was a cleaning day! Fun times over here at my house!! Woot! Woot! I can’t believe how bad our house was. I spent the entire day in the kitchen/dinning area and it took the whole day and I haven’t even finished the floors yet!! That’s the last thing I have to do. The dog hair is bad!! They need to be vacuumed and then swiffer wet mopped. At bare minimum!! My oldest was cleaning the living room for about 3 hours straight and, sadly, you can hardly tell!! That’s how bad it was!! That room is, finally almost finished. We still have to do the front entry. My damn heel is throbbing, even though I was wearing my new house shoes. I guess wearing better shoes is something that helps, but it’s not an instant fix! While we were cleaning all day for her party, my younger daughter was at West Edmonton Mall all day with friends! Trust me, my oldest reminded me and complained to me about this fact off and on all day long!! She did clean the main floor bathroom after supper, once she was home. There’s still vacuuming and swiffering and moving laundry baskets to be done. However, we will have time tomorrow. We’re going to her 11:15 meeting at the school tomorrow morning. Then we’re going shopping for groceries, a cake, etc. afterwards. Following those things, when we get home we will then have some time left to clean up the rest that is left from today.

After cleaning all day long I got supper all ready for my hubby to BBQ. We had pork, baked (BBQ’d) potatoes and salad. It was pretty good and fairly quick prep. Not bad. After supper, my son and I played our cup game on the trampoline. We made it up together. You have red solo cups upside down, in a line behind your back, as does your opponent. Then, using a softish ball, we try to knock over the cups, while you try to defend and block your cups. It’s not that exciting, pretty simple really, but we have fun. It’s versatile, I can just sit and block the ball and throw towards him and his cups, while he jumps around and kicks the ball and dives and is all over the place. But it doesn’t matter that I don’t, he’s just happy that I’m playing with him!! We played until it got dark and we could no longer see the ball or each other very well!!

We’re considering whether or not we want to go camping this coming week with friends, Claudia and Keith, as well

as many others. I’m looking into the cost of renting a tent trailer, to see if we would be able to afford it or not. Fingers crossed! I’m calling a couple places tomorrow to see the cost. Then we’ll decide. We’ve been pretty broke, so we probably can’t really afford it. Sigh, like usual!! Story of my life!! We could always tent it, but everyone is going to be in these big, fancy trailers and fifth wheels, etc. So I just wish we could at least have a toilet, a sink, a table, and a stove. My biggest pet peeve while camping is having to pee in the night! And not having a table to play cards at, etc. – especially if it rains. I don’t need top of the one, fancy shmancy!! I just have a few, easily met needs. I gets we’ll see. It may break the bank…I can take the bottles in, that’ll help!! Anyway, I’ll call tomorrow and go from there! It may be too last minute. Who knows. A phone call is easy to do to find out information. Anyway, I’m going to head to bed!! Night All! 💤😴

Discovering The Shoes!!

I slept in really late today!! Probably because I couldn’t sleep last night. I was still awake around 3:30am…blech!! I was feeling so tired too! I ended up fiddling around on my phone for a while. (I do have that now got shield thingy set up on my phone, to block the blue light from your eyes.) When I finally woke up, my daughter was trying to get people to help her clean up. Her birthday party is in two days and tomorrow she’s at West Edmonton Mall all day with friends. So, she needed to get it done today. I had already planned on heading to the shoe store on Whyte Avenue, Sole Experience, to buy a pair of shoes for the house. The flimsy slippers that I bum around in are bad for my feet, especially with my stupid plantar Fasciitis. So, no one was getting up to help her. She was totally stressing out. I had to leave, so I asked my hubby to help her.

I went to the shoe store around 3:45 and it closed at 5:00, so I didn’t have an enormous amount of time. I don’t know

if I looked bummy or what, but it took forever until someone finally helped me! I saw a whole bunch of people who worked there standing around visiting. I was clearly interested in trying something was trying to be really obvious with the eye contact. Finally, someone, who was helping another lady, asked me if I’ve bee helped yet. I said, “nope!” So he got an older gentleman to come help me. Once he was helping me, I had good service from him then! At first I was really frustrated. I felt like saying, “hello!! I’m here, with real, big person money!! I’d like to buy some shoes please!!!” I don’t know if I looked more like a browser…weird! Anyway, I mentioned last night that I have a hard time fitting shoes, well that is true still! I have, according to my nice sales guy, super high arches and really wide feet! Like I said yesterday, thick and wide!! I now understand why some older women wear ugly, but comfy shoes! Some of the shoes that he brought me were definitely “grandma shoes”, but man were they comfy!! I was super close to buying a pair…but I’m not old yet…there had to be something!! I ended up with a pair of a German brand slippers/house shoes. They’re cute, with little owls on them. Then I bought a colour and style I thought I’d never wear – but man they were/are comfortable. They were like made for my feet. Which, for me, doesn’t happen, so I bought them. $200 shoes for only $60!!! I got a great deal! The other ones were regular around $125 and I bought them for $80. So, not bad! I only paid $145 and the value is there!! The pair I bought are bright red dressy-looking sandals. I balked when I first saw them, but I swear that they were made for me and I wish that they had more colours. However, the sale has been going on for a while and their stock was low. Oh. And if/when I get my orthotics, they’ll fit into these shoes. It’s an orthopaedic shoe store with expensive brands, so I expected to pay s lot. I didn’t think there was any way that I’d be able to pairs. I need to thank Carol. She gave me/us the money for the shoes. To, hopefully, help the dumb plantar Fasciitis.

Once I got home from the store, I made chicken salad for supper. My younger daughter and I watched The Bachelorette while we ate and after supper. We’re really behind. The season is already over, but we have it all recorded. So, as long as I don’t see anything about the show, I can watch without knowing who she chooses. When I got home, my daughter had finished cleaning the kitchen. However, my older daughter wasn’t feeling great, so she only helped a bit. Gee, guess what I’ll be doing tomorrow?? Cleaning house!! After watching the Bachelorette, I coloured with my little man for a while. Then we came up for bed. And here we are!! Ready to stop writing WAY earlier than the past few nights!! Night All! 💤😴

No Luck With The Shoe Hunt…

I had a lazy morning. I didn’t do much. Just sat around in my pj’s. I woke up early to make an appointment for the 28th at my daughter’s school. We have to go in and talk to them about her schedule and make some changes to it. They have her registered for phys-ed, but she already did the summer school phys-ed. This will free up some space for a different class. Hopefully we can get them to change her math class as well. She’s not in the one that she should be in. So we will be talking to them next week about that, on the 28th at 11:15. After I got off the phone, I went back to bed thinking that I’d just relax for a bit and then get up, but I fell back asleep for a couple of hours. So much for getting up early! We have 10 days until school starts. Time to start early bed times and shift schedules around. My daughter gets up at 8:00 almost everyday anyway. She should probably be going to bed earlier than she does now, once school is back on.

After I woke up for the second time and lazed around for a bit, I took my daughter (the younger one) to Millwoods Town Centre. She was going to her best friends birthday tonight and needed to buy her a gift. She found something at Ardenes for her. Then we went to the Shoe Warehouse, looking for almost slippers, but not flimsy ones, sorta house shoes. I need to get something with good support to wear around the house and help with my plantar Fasciitis. They didn’t have anything good though. I think that tomorrow I’m going to go to the good shoe store on Whyte Ave, I think it’s called Sole Experience or something like that. I went there with my mom after we got our pedicures in the spring and I think they’ll have what I’m looking for. I hope so. I have a difficult time finding shoes that fit, I always have. I have super wide and thick feet, so I have a hell of s time finding shoes. I always have. I remember that even as a kid it was hard to find shoes. I hate it!!

Once we got home from the city, I wrapped the gifts for my daughter and drove her to her friend’s house. Then I ran to Rexall and came home. My hubby and I ran out to get a couple of things for supper, then he BBQ’d. After supper we watched the movie Rough Night with Scarlet Johanson. It was okay. Not as funny as it looked in the preview. The premise is that they’re having a bachelorette party and her friends hire a stripper and they accidentally kill him. Then the problem is what do they do?? The preview or trailer made it look hilarious and there were definitely some good, funny moments. However, it just wasn’t as funny or as good as I expected. I was a Little disappointed in it. Yesterday’s movie I was expecting a crappy movie, but I was expecting this to be a good, fun comedy. Bummer. Oh well.

Well, it’s late – again – which means I should really be sleeping right now and not rambling about so-so movies. So, on that note…Night All! 💤😴

New Phone…

Today was pretty lazy. I didn’t do all that much. General house stuff of course, but that’s kind of a given I think. My hubby took our younger daughter to Fido in Millwoods Town Centre. While we were away at my parent’s, she accidentally broke her phone. She had it in a bag, with her towel and stuff. When she grabbed her towel, the phone came flying out with the towel and landed face down and the screen shattered. So, at Fido they used my plan, since it’s over in a couple months, to get her phone. My hubby said that we’d just have to pay for the couple of months, since we’re renewing it early. Well, she came home with a brand new iPhone 7!! I was surprised, because my hubby said it’d probably just be a 6 and he’d have to pay for anything else. But, nope, they “traded” in her cracked one and got her a free 7. So, she had better take care of this one. And, hopefully nothing happens to mine, be because I can no longer trade mine in!! I hope it works out. It leaves me feeling a bit worried. I’ve taken good care of my phone for two years and she gets rewarded for that…hmmm…I hope it works out! I like my phone. I’ve been quite happy with it. I just liked having the security in the back of my mind that we had it covered if anything ever happened to it. I hope it’s okay. It’s been fine up until now, so hopefully it’ll continue to be so. My hubby said if I want her to get mine and I get the new one that would be fine. But I’d lose 1/2 my memory space, as this is a 64gig and that’s a 32gig. Also, I have the plus and I like the big size. I have crappy eyes and big hands, so it works well for me. So, I guess that I just cross my fingers that everything works out.

While they were in the city and my son was at his friend’s house, I did some painting. I started with some old paper that I found in my bag and it made me realize that my art instructor was right about paper quality. She said that, when she’s asked what is most important, paper, paint or brush quality, she always always says paper quality! Well, I saw that today!! I guess I’ve been spoiled, using her good paper, because the stuff I used this afternoon worked like crap!! The colours didn’t flow together at all!! Watercolour paints are supposed to flow and mix with the water. All this did was suck into the paper. The colours didn’t blend or mix or anything!! It was crappy!! I couldn’t get anything to “work” like she showed us. It was awful!! I was shocked by the difference. It has never done that to me. I haven’t tried the sheet that’s still at my parent’s (obviously…) or any of the paper from Ursula, but all I can say is anything would be better than this!! The pictures that I tried on that paper are just garbage!! Bye bye crappy paper!!! I wanted to try a bigger size of the northern lights that she taught us and boy oh boy, it didn’t work! No wonder she provides paper! If all of my paintings looked like those, I could see giving up and thinking I can’t do this. Instead of still enjoying it and hoping for success.

After painting, my son came home from his friend’s. He and I played our balloon game for a while. Then I got supper together. My oldest has to get up early for work tomorrow and needed to eat supper and go to bed. So I made a quick supper for us. After supper, my hubby and I watched Bay Watch. We thought it might be funny. It was okay. I’ve definitely seen better! It had it’s moments where it gained a laugh from me. But, it’s not an addition to my top ten or anything!! It’s dumb late! I’ve been staying up too late all week!! I really need to go to bed. So…that’s what I’m going to do! Night All! 💤😴

School Supply Shopping!

Despite being broke, we decided to go school supplies shopping today. We kind of had to, it’s not like you can just decide not to do it. I don’t think that would go over very well! So we went to Walmart armed with our lists, sort of. For high school, they don’t really have a list. It’s more like preference. Do you like using notebooks or do you prefer loose-leaf paper and binders, do you like a black pen or would you rather blue, etc. Very different from the specific grade two school supply list we had to purchase. We found everything at Walmart, except for the oil pastels (for grade 2???!!!) and watercolour paints. We went to Staples and found both of these there!

After Walmart, we went to Carol and Rae’s house. My hubby and I met Carol years ago. When we first were working together, running a drop-in centre for kids and youth in low income housing units. Carol’s church was one of the churches that sponsored the program. We were so young, she was “old” to us then…now they’re in their mid to late eighties. We got to know her really well and, when she learned of my hubby’s history and situation at the time, she took him under her wing. She became like a new grandmother for us. We’ve stayed in contact with her all of these years. She’s helped us out during tight times throughout the years. She’s a incredible woman and her husband is a sweetheart. He always has books for me, he gave me four more books today! Tonight they gave us farm eggs, $50 for each of the girls for their birthdays and $20 for my little man, probably so he wouldn’t feel left out. They’re the most kind, generous and giving people I’ve ever met in my life. She’s the type of person who would see a sale on socks, by 15 pairs and take them all to the Bissel Centre. (I may have spelled that wrong, is it Bissle ??? No. That wrong…). Anyway, we had a nice little visit with Carol and Rae.

From there we went for food, because we were all starving and Carol gave us enough money for supper and told us to treat ourselves. We went to the Red Robin. They had a huge range of nummy burgers. They were so good. It had avocado, jalapeño relish and a bunch of other things on it. It was such a huge burger, I truly didn’t know how to eat it at first. I ended up just stuffing it “into my face-hole” as my daughter said!! I still feel full now and it’s midnight!!

After supper, we went to Home Depot and then this is when I found the things at Staples. Then we popped into mom and dad’s, to bring in the mail, walk around, and water the plants. From there we went to tune police station (my hubby found a wallet outside of Walmart and we were going to turn it in.). The police station was so busy that my hubby is going to take it in tomorrow. Sorry person who lost your wallet. You have to wait!! We were trying to set a good example for the kids, but it sort of backfired!! Well, we didn’t take anything out of it and we’re returning it tomorrow. What we read online said not to turn it into a random person at a store, but to take it to the police station. So, tomorrow I guess… after the police station , we drove home. I had a shower. I used my “whoosh” from Lush. It’s a gelly based body wash. I really liked it!!!! Then I got ready for bed and, voila! Here we are!! Night All! 💤😴

Money, or, rather the lack thereof, is stressing me out right now!! Here’s the dilemma: do I get a part-time job and lose my disability payment?? Or do we keep things the same? The thing about my CPP disability payments is that it is very hard to get approved and put on the program. So, hypothetical, I start working part time somewhere and then I start to feel like crap again – well, tough poop! I think it’s lost. Soooo…do I just try volunteering to see if it’s too difficult for me?? Like, if I don’t feel well enough??? I don’t know what to do…I do know that we need more money some how. I wish that there was something that I could do from home (without having to sell something!)!! It might be time for some research!! All I know are the facts. And right now the very clear fact is that we’re broke!! It’s so frustrating having gotten so sick that it fucked up my career!! It’s very very crappy! I don’t even know what I’d do, if I’d look for something in my field or just some small part time job at Starbucks or a bookstore or something. I don’t even know if I’d remember how to work in my field. I hope that I would, but it’s been a long long time!! Well, I guess that some research is needed. My future looks unknown. I could work at the library. I’d like that. Hmmm…

My hubby says that if things keep on going in the Direction that they’re currently heading, we are going to end up living in a box. We’ll be homeless in Beaumont. We’ll lose the house and be screwed…he scares me when he talks like that…

Today was another homebody day. We fiddled with things like painting with my son. We found a tutorial that gave us step by Step instructions on how to draw Pikachu. So we did that together. I went to the walk/in dr appointment today with my oldest daughter. She needed some refills and a dr note for work and I needed to pick up my expensive prescription. $118 – after going through insurance and having them pay 80%of it. I don’t know what you’d do if you needed these pills and had zero insurance!!! You’d be screwed!!!

After the dr and pharmacists visit, we made a quick supper. Then I played the balloon game with my son. While we were doing that, my daughter got 5 Crowns (a new game that we played at my parent’s…I ordered it for us to play, because we really enjoyed it. So then all five of us played 5 Crowns. It was fun!! Then it was bed time. And here I sit. Exhausted and it’s late late late!!! Night Night!! Night All! 💤😴
