Last night was rough… I couldn’t fall asleep. Which is not exactly big news. I was still awake when my hubby came to bed at around 4:30am. I finally drifted off some time after that. However, I woke up early and couldn’t fall back to sleep. Then my alarm went off early, because my son was being dropped off at about 9:30 from the sleepover. My hubby went downstairs and I stayed in bed, but of course, once I was awake I was unable to fall back asleep. I was somewhat sleepy when my son came upstairs to say good morning. Then I laid here until about 12:30. Then I had to get up and get myself ready to take my son to a birthday party. After dropping him off I went to Sobeys and then to Rexall. They didn’t have any of my nasal migraine medication that they told me that they would have. Apparently I have to wait until they can order it on Tuesday. Also, they found the right prescription that the pharmacist is supposed to inject into me, but aren’t certain if the medications can be combined or not, so they couldn’t do it today. They may be able to do it tomorrow. They “forgot” to get the rest of the vials ready for me…sigh. My watch has been stuck on the same time for the past few days, so I went to a few places looking for the correct battery. I was just about to give up, but decided to check Home Hardware in a last ditch effort and Yay!! they had the correct one!! So now my watch is working again. When I came home I got a chicken cooking in the oven and peeled some potatoes, so that when it was time, they would just have to be turned on. Then I went upstairs to my room and gave myself an injection and laid down. I was exhausted and felt nauseous and had a super migraine all day. I was so tired that I couldn’t focus or think straight. All of these weird sleepless nights are starting to catch up with me. I set a google alarm, just in case I actually did fall asleep. I didn’t expect to. I just kind of laid there. I did drift in and out a bit. I got up when my alarm went off and went downstairs. My hubby had put the meat thermometer into the chicken like I’d asked and started the potatoes. I left and picked up my son from the birthday party. Then I came home and made the gravy. My younger daughter mashed the potatoes while I was gone and my hubby did the frozen veggies. My son had pizza and cake at the party and my oldest was at work, so my younger daughter, my hubby and I had supper. Then I made a plate of food for my oldest daughter and cleaned up. I was still feeling awful. So I went upstairs and laid down until it was my son’s bedtime. Then I got him into bed. Afterwards, I got myself ready for bed. Now I’m going to try to see if I can actually fall asleep. I really doubt it, sleep doesn’t seem to be in my cards…but hey, it’s worth a try right?!
Night All! 💤😴
