Well, none of my kids are feeling much better yet. They’re all still coughing. My oldest still seems the worst. We took her to the dr and they think she has a sinus infection. She’s on antibiotics now. She also got a note for work. Missing three days is stressing her out! It’s still a fairly new job and she doesn’t want to get into trouble. Her plan is to go tomorrow, regardless of how she feels. Then if she’s not doing great, but shows up, they may choose to send her home, but that’s on them then and she’s not calling in again.
We went to my parent’s house for a visit with my Aunt and my cousin, before my aunt heads back to BC tomorrow. They were going to come here, but we decided to go there instead. With my oldest at home, we didn’t need to worry about her being unable to see Auntie Marilyn. We played a fun card game, called Phase 10. We didn’t actually have time to finish the game, but I was actually winning for once, which is rare with that game – lol! We had a good meal and more of the leftover birthday cake from Friday. After supper my daughter showed us all some of her dances. I just love watching her dance. I can’t wait to see them on the stage. By the end of the competition season I will know most of the dances, because I’ll have seen them a whole lot, but now is the exciting time when they are all new and I’ve never seen them. I don’t know if I have a favorite style. This year her hip hop is going to be a fun one to watch. They are going to be dressed as the Scooby Doo gang. My daughter is Velma. We still have to buy her costume. I’ve found most of it on amazon.ca, it’s just the orange turtleneck that I still have to find. Well, I have to actually order it still, I’ve just been finding everything. She’s also doing a lyrical solo this year and I’m so nervous! I think I am more nervous about it than she is actually! She also showed us that dance tonight and it’s really pretty, I’m sure she’ll do fine, I just can’t believe that my baby will be up on that stage all by herself dancing in front of a bunch of people. It freaks me out! Not that I don’t think she’ll do very well, she’ll do fine, I’m sure, it’s just, wow! I could never do something like that all by myself. That takes courage and I’m proud of her for even trying, regardless of how she ends up doing. I’m awfully tired and I’m trying really hard to not get any of the millions of germs that my kids seem to be swimming in right now. I have a really runny nose and watery eyes, but that could always be allergies. If it turns into this cold, I won’t be surprised, I’m just hoping it’s not the bug that is in my nose right now. Regardless, I’m going to head to bed and get some sleep. I’m super tired. I couldn’t sleep last night, it was around 4:00 when I finally fell asleep last night. So, I’m off to bed. Night all💤😴
