The Bug Infestation!!

My son is really into YouTube. He's only seven, but he rarely watches tv and almost always chooses to watch YouTube. So, right now he's into watching skateboarding videos. Mainly ones of a father with a young son, about my son's age, and their skateboarding escapades. The little boy also plays with a hand board and finger boards, otherwise known as Tech Decks. These are just mini-skateboards that you play around with with your fingers. Of course, watching this little boy play with his Tech Decks made my son want his own!! So, he decided that he wanted to buy his own with his own money from his piggy bank. We searched it and found that you can buy them at ToysRUs. So, we drove to the city after lunch, my oldest daughter, my son and I (my younger daughter is still at camp!) went. When we got there, we couldn't find them. We asked someone who works there where to find them. They went to the spot where they generally are, but there weren't any there. So, she asked another sales associate who went into the warehouse and came back with a box that had about 5 or 6 in the package and one that just had one. Of course he wanted the one with 6. So that's what he bought!! It was only about $20.

After ToysRUs, we went to Chapters. My daughter wanted a couple books and some candles and I wanted to check and see if the scarf that I'm in love with went on sale yet. (It wasn't ☹️). From Chapters we went To Chatters in South Common. At Chatters, I found the shampoo and conditioner that the hairdresser recommended for me for $65 for 1 litre of each. It's pretty expensive, so I really hope that it works. We also found some spray-in hair dyes, pastel colours, that wash out right away. I bought the light pink and she bought the blue and green. We found another brand and the colours were brighter and she bought a few of those as well. I'm excited to use them. When we got to the till, we saw that thee was a deal that if you spend over $60 you can get some, usually expensive, dry shampoo for only $4. So we each bought that. My daughter also bought a sea salt spray that she was looking for. I got some funky, cute twisty hair elastics too. My daughter ended up getting my pink dye, because they told us that it was buy two get one free. So, since she was buying two, why not get mine for free?? It just made sense!! I can't wait to try them!! Now I know where I'm buying teal hair dye this year for TN Awareness day in October. This time it won't have to stay in for months, it washes out after one wear…much better!!

After Chatters, we drove through a Starbucks drive thru, then drove back to Beaumont. I had to stop at the Rexall to pick up my prescriptions, so that I can pack them. Not helpful with one of them. They were out and gave me 3 pills out of 90 and "owe me 87!!!" Helpful??…not so much! When we got home we checked the laundry that we had going while we were gone. Then we had supper.

After supper, while my oldest was helping my son assemble his Tech Decks. The kit comes with 6 boards, but only enough pieces to assemble three at a time. There are different coloured wheels that you can use and it's kind of neat, but the screws and little gold bolts you need for the wheels are itty-bitty. Remember Polly Pockets?? Hoe tiny they were?? Well this came with a tiny tool to use to put them together, but you have to have small or very non-shaking hands!! Which is why my daughter did it. I was getting stuff together for packing. I went into the pantry (big cupboard in our house) to get a ziplock bag, to put my sunblock and bug spray into and I pulled out the bag and it had three larvae type worms crawling in it! My hubby said they looked like maggots!! Eew!! This was inside a brand new sealed ziplock bag!!! So I took the box out and proceeded to find about 10 more worms and the crusts they left behind…gag!! I cleaned out the box and trashed whatever bags were infested. Then I called my hubby and told him that we had new evening plans… exciting ones too!! "We now get the great honour of cleaning out the worm-infested pantry!!!" "Yay us!!" GROSS!! And, well, I'm very sorry to say that it only got worse and worse. I had a bag of breadcrumbs on the same shelf in a clear bag – worm-infested, I through out the cornstarch, flour, brown sugar, etc. and onions, when we pulled out the last few baking things, we saw that there were also black beetle type bugs crawling all over the shelf with the worms. I think that they must start as one and end up as the other. It was beyond nasty!! So we cleaned that shelf. We had a cake-pop maker in there…it was sitting in a tin and the time lid was upside down – it was filled with both types of the bugs!! I dumped it outside, then threw it out. When I came in and looked at the cake pop maker…well, it was infested with these little worms. There were piles of them all over it. In every crescent, corner anywhere they could fit – they were there. It was beyond disgusting!! We threw the whole thing out! I'd rather buy a new one – that's how bad it was. I think it was "ground zero!!" When that shelf was emptied we moved up one shelf and found a few more in the pots and things, threw out some food-stuffs, but mostly was pans and stuff. We threw everything from that shelf directly into the dishwasher !! The next shelf was the cereal, crackers, rice, pasta, etc. This is where someone was watching out for us, we went through everything!!! We took it all out. Tossed anything expired, etc. Then carefully went through it all. We didn't find one bug on this shelf!! Yay!! There is aGod!! Thank you God for protecting our food!! I really appreciate it!! I'm so grateful!! No bugs!! Yay!! Then, the very bottom – the one we were avoiding. You know, gravity. The bugs can get down easily!! We pulled the stuff out, a big roasting pan, rice cooker, huge bin filled with Tupperware (fake Tupperware) etc. The floor was crawling with bugs‼️It was so so bad‼️ There were worms and the crawlers everywhere! My hubby vacuumed them all up while I threw out all of our plastic containers! We're just going to buy new ones at Costco!! We wiped everything down with Lysol disinfectant wipes before we reshelved things. All of this took some time. My idea to pack was taken away very quickly!! This was an event!! On the positive side of things, the pantry hadn't looked this clean and organized in ages!! It's crazy clean!!

I still have the heeby-jeebies!! Yuck!! I can't imagine if we didn't discover the bugs before we left for BC!! Yuck! Thank goodness I needed that ziplock bag!! When we finally finished the bug pantry, I did some laundry. Then I asked my daughter what I had to do to back up my phone and to put the pictures onto the computer to create space on my phone. We spent forever going through and deleting photos that don't need to be kept or transferred to the computer. I obviously had many, because I cleared up 9.8 gigs and I'm not done yet. It got too late and we had to go to bed!! Which is what I'm going to do right now. Hopefully with anything in my head, other than those damn bugs!! Yuck! Night All! 💤😴

Cut That Hair!!!

Well, the program just booted me out so it could do another update!! Hopefully it fixed whatever is glitchy for my dad, when he receives my posts. I can't see any obvious changes. I guess I'll see if anything comes up as I write this or when I publish and share to Facebook.

Today I decided my son should get a haircut before we go to BC, as it's getting rather long. So I called the cheap, or affordable place in town, First Choice Haircutters. They're even open on Monday's. They had an opening, so we went in at 1:00 for our appointment. While she was cutting his hair, my daughter decided that she could use a haircut too. So we asked the lady if she was free after he was done and she said yes. Then I decided I should get mine done as well, it desperately needed it!! (Which you may remember from a previous post!!) So, my daughter got hers cut. Then I asked her to please wash mine first, so she washed and cut mine. I kept it basically the same! I have a couple of long layers and I decided I wanted bangs again, do she gave me side-bangs. I like it!! I told her about how much hair falls out when you wash it and, indeed, she saw for herself. She agreed that it was a lot. She recommended a shampoo and conditioner called Nioxin. It helps stop hair from falling out and works to make it thicker. She said you can buy it at Chatters. So I'm going to check it out on Thursday. There's a Chatters near my Mom and Dad's and I'm heading to their place on Thursday anyway. So, I'll go then. In the meantime, my hair definitely looks better. I showered with a shower cap on tonight, since she washed my hair, I just did my body!!

After the haircuts, we went to Sobeys for groceries and to pick up stuff for supper. When we got home, I did another load of laundry, then we watched Big Brother and my period came!! Yay! I didn't want to worry about my period while at my mom and dad's with their septic tank, so I was hoping it would start today – although cramps suck while I'm trying to get so much done!! I now have three days to do my son's laundry and to get him and I packed!! After Big Brother, my hubby and and I made supper, I prepped and he BBQ'ed. We had steak with baby potatoes and carrots. Mmmmm…

After supper, I had my quick, shower-cap shower. Then I folded my laundry while watching more Big Brother. As I folded I took out what I was packing for the trip, so I can add it to my suitcase. I can't believe how soon I leave!! I also can't believe how much clothes, especially pj's that I own!! Having ALL of my clothes clean is rare and, now that they are, I do not have the space to put them away!! Crazy right!!? But true! I have to purge more. I still haven't gone through my dresser or closet, just the piles that I had! I don't think I'm going to have the time to get to it before I leave. But, hopefully I can get it done once we get back. This overflow of stuff gets really, very annoying!! I just really don't think it's realistic to expect to get through it all by Thursday evening. Not realistic at all! Maybe if I get packed and have some spare time, but I'm super doubtful!! But, I got all of the clean stuff folded and I know what I want to pack tomorrow and/or Wednesday.

Thursday I made an appointment for my oldest daughter and I to go get pedicures!! I was organizing my purses and I found a gift card, that I swear I used, for a pedicure at Spasation. It's from my parents and I think it's from my last birthday, even though I swear that I used it last spring…but it is still stuck on the cardboard backing and looks unused!! I guess we'll find out when we're there on Thursday. And afterwards I'm going to go to mom and dad's, as well as Chatters. My daughter needs to be picked up from camp on Thursday. It was supposed to be in the evening, but she texted to say that they're moving it to a different time, likely in the morning!! My hubby will probably go get her, depending on the time and how packed I am!! I can't wait for the pedicures!! It's my daughter's first time getting a pedicure. I'm excited!! She's paying for hers and I'm, hopefully, gift carding it…hopefully. That'll be interesting to find out if it's used or not!!

I'm going to head to bed now, I'm tired and crampy! Night All! 💤😴

Drive To Camp And Laundry Tries To Take Over!!

We had to wake up early today, to drive my daughter out to camp at Pigeon lake. She had to be there by 9:30, so we were up pretty early for a Sunday! It's about an hour drive out to the camp. This week is mom and kids camp, which is the camp that I always took my girls to when they were little. It's the camp that introduced my daughter to Camp Wohelo and made her fall in love with it! She's an LIT, which stands for Leader In Training. Although, from what I remember from when I was a camper, the LIT's do a lot of work!! Just as much as the leaders (if not more, although I'm not sure they'd like me to say so!!) Anyway, this is what she wanted to do, she did it last year and had loads of fun!! So, she's there for mom and kids camp until Thursday, then she's home Friday and she goes back Saturday, for two more nights. The last two nights are for a very short Family camp. The difference between the two camps is that dads can also come to family camp. My hubby was never interested though (he said there's no way he'll be sitting by a fire without drinking a beer!! Lol). So, I always went to mom and kids with the girls.

On our way home from dropping her off we had to stop by the airport to drop off my daughter's inhaler for my hubby. She was off work because of ovarian cysts and happened to have an inhaler in her purse. He forgot his and really needed one. So, we gave him hers. Then we drove to Sobeys. Once we got home and had something to eat, we put on Moana (I may have spelled that incorrectly) and tackled the laundry – we had about 6 baskets of clean clothes that needed to be folded and put away!! It's been sitting, clean, waiting for folding for too long!! And, since I'm all into being productive these days – for some strange and unknown reason – I decided I wasn't going to keep walking past it and ignoring it. We got it all done!! Yay!! I'd like to say we're all caught up, but with five people the laundry seems to be never-ending!

After the laundry was finished, I cut off a couple pairs of jeans for my son. He wanted me to make them all fuzzy and soft, like he saw me do to mine, so I pulled out the seam-ripper and got to work fraying the bottom of his denim shorts. It's simple enough to do, but tedious and time-consuming!! Very time-consuming!! I finally finished after supper, while watching the new Beauty and the Beast movie with my daughter! Afterwards, we watched some fun YouTube videos. They play songs/clips from Disney movies and you have to try not to sing along! You're not allowed to hum, dance, tap your feet, etc. It's so so hard!! It may sound like the simplest thing ever, but when you know most of the songs it's really quite difficult not to sing along!! They're really a lot of fun to try. They have all sorts of these types of videos, not just for Disney songs. You should really give it a go sometime, they're fun and pretty funny too!! My son says we look funny when we're trying not to sing along!! After watching a couple of those videos, we went to bed! And!!! Here, I am!!

Busy Busy Busy!!!

Well, last night I fell asleep writing my post. It's the first time that's ever happened – lol! Just kidding!! It's actually nothing new, although recently I've been pretty good. But last night it didn't matter how hard I tried to keep my eyes open, I just kept nodding off. I couldn't get two words out!! It was so frustrating!! Hopefully tonight won't be a repeat of yesterday…there's always a higher chance when I start writing later and it is 12:30!! That's not good!

Yesterday was a bit busier than today was. After Ikea, we got home and realized we missed a piece! I went up to my room and tackled some more of my clothing piles. I actually ended up going through an awful lot!! I found clothes that I forgot I had – lol I still have too much stuff, I definitely have to do more than go through and organize it, I need to get rid of stuff!! I just have way way too much! But, I did get a lot done and sorted! Also it looks way better, there are no piles on the end of my bed! And, trust me, there were many!! It just feels good to go through it all. Also, most importantly, I found my favourite silver bracelet that my son was playing with and accidentally lost somewhere on the bed. Well, it's been so messy, that I couldn't find it anywhere. I actually gave up on it. However, I found it yesterday. It was at the end of the mattress and had slid down far enough that it was resting on the inside ledge of the bed frame. If that makes sense!! I was sooo happy to find it! After I finished cleaning, we went to Claudia and Keith's house for supper. The supper was delicious! They had BBQ'd ribs and a few salads and fresh bread. Then for dessert they had my favourite, angel food cake with whipped cream and strawberries!! So so tasty!! After supper, the my younger daughter and her friend (Emma, Claudia's daughter) left to pick up a couple other friends and have a sleepover at our house. We stayed for a while longer and sat outside by the fire. It was really nice. We had a good visit and really enjoyed ourselves. They're good people and I look forward to all of our visits with them!!

Today my hubby went back to IKEA to get the piece that we missed yesterday. Oops!! He was able to easily assemble the shelf. He put all of our board games onto it. Mid afternoon, I had to take my daughter to a dance performance. It was for one of the teachers at their studios brother. He passed away at only 24 and since then they run a big soccer tournament with a beer garden a full stage, bouncy castles, etc. It's actually a fairly big event. So she, this dance teacher, chose which dances she wanted Amanda to arrange to perform. My daughter and her friends did their Scooby Doo dance. They performed great!!

On our way home we popped into Walmart. We had to get a couple things for my daughter, because she's back to camp tomorrow, as an LIT. I also needed a few things as well. After that, we drove home. We went to Dollarama for duck tape, then to Sobeys to pick up food for supper. When we got home, I made small snacks for the kids, then got supper all prepared for my hubby to throw onto BBQ. Mmmm BBQ'd chicken is good!! After supper, I did my second load of laundry for the day. Then my oldest daughter, my son and I watched Power Rangers. It went a little late, which is why this is so late!! I have to wake up early so I should really go to bed now. I can hardly keep my eyes open!! Night All! 💤😴

Sleeping Writer…Yawn

Today was another full day. It started with my son getting picked up by his friend's mom to go with them for the day, to the Muttart and on the Streetcar in the city. Once he was picked up, my daughter was picked up by her friend's family to go with them to K Days for the day. After they left, we went to Ikea, my hubby, our oldest daughter and I. We went to look at shelves, a book shelf and a shelf for all

Of our games to go on in the basement. Nothing fancy, just very basic. In the bookshelf section, the bookshelves were all either too tall or to narrow for what my daughter was looking for. They were mainly too shallow to hold a bunch of games!! We found some basic shelves that'll do the trick for our games, so we took a photo of the isle and bin numbers. When we got to isle 21, the bin numbers were confusing for this particular shelf, as they had another, very very similar shelf right in the same area. It was very difficult to tell which pieces went with what. We bought a couple garbage cans, some tea lite candles, a set of place mats, as well as the shelf. There was nothing standing out in the as is section today, so we stuck with what we had already found.

We went to Old Navy after IKEA. They had a really great sale on kids clothes! I got my son three pairs of athletic type shorts, they were only $5/each!! Then I bought him three t-shirts, which were priced at 50,% off!! Good deals for kids, but I bought a dress and perfume. My dress was on sale, only 20% off, perfume was regular price!

Oh no! I fell asleep! It's 3am!!!yuck yuck yuck! I'm going to bed. Sorry. This is a weird post, but I'll continue tomorrow!!

Fray Those Jeans👖

Today definitely wasn't as busy as yesterday! I framed my project and it actually looks pretty good! I wasn't sure about the type of frame that I bought. My daughter liked it and I was hmming and haaing about it. However, it was a nice grain of wood, a decent price – not cheap, but not as pricey as some were, so I thought I'd go for it. I'm glad I did, I think it looks good and I'm my harshest critic!! Hopefully it's appreciated. A lot of work went into it. I'm so glad I finished it before going away, now it won't be bugging me while I'm gone and I won't have to try to finish that and pack at the same time.

My son is still awake. It is late for him and he's waiting on me, so this will be a very short post!! Tomorrow I'm going to start doing laundry for our trip. I'd like to have my son mostly packed and myself packed by Wednesday. Thursday is going to be busy and Friday I have to be at the train station (I just love how that sounds!!!) by 6:30am on Friday (one week from tomorrow!!). I can't believe it's only a week away! I have a lot to do to get ready!! Hopefully I can get organized so that I'm able to finish all that I want to do before we go! This afternoon my daughter and I watched Fantastic Beasts And Where To Find Them, while I worked

on a pair of denim shorts that I cut last night. I had to go all around the edges and fray them, so that it doesn't look like they were just cut off – and not necessarily the most straight. The fraying makes them look more worn and I just like it better!

Afterwards, I helped my little man go through all his change, from pennies up and count it. He has a whole $23.30. This royally upset my hubby and I! We know he had bills in his piggy bank and there wasn't a single bill to be found! My hubby and I both recall multiple times that we've given him money and he's stuffed it inside his piggy bank!! We think it must have been raided by one of his loving sisters!! You just gotta love kids! We have no idea when it happened…or who to blame, there's a whole lot of denying and "it wasn't me!!" going on!! Sad really, that they'd do that to their little brother. He's only 7 for Pete's sakes!! That's just so mean. I guess he needs a new place to put any cash we give him. Sigh…

After going through his piggy bank, my daughter had a dance rehearsal that my hubby took her to. I went with my oldest and my son and took her to her dr's appointment. She left work early yesterday and didn't go, called in sick, today. Her tummy has been hurting her a lot. Lower tummy, sharp pains! The dr thinks that it's ovarian cysts…again. She had them when she was younger. They have her prescription strength naproxen and she has to set up an appointment for an ultrasound. She also got a dr's note for the time she's missed at work.

After the dr's office we dropped her prescriptions off, got supper at Sobeys, then we picked up her prescription and came home. I made a late supper while they watched Descendants and then we watched the rest while eating supper. We then watched the second one – these aren't new to us, my daughter just loves them and my son really wanted to see the sequel, even though we just watched it on the weekend!! He wasn't there when we watched it. I didn't really mind, because I had a pair of cut-off denim capris that I needed to fray like I did to the shorts, so it gave me something to semi watch as I used the seam-ripper to fray them. After the movie, it was after 11:00, which is why my son was/is awake so late! Good thing it's the summer. A late night here and there won't kill you!! Although, we probably didn't do it on the best day, he has a long day tomorrow, with Friends. They're going to ride the street-car in the city and then they're going to the Mutart Conservatory. I'm sure he's going to have a lot of fun!! So, I should get him into bed now – and myself!! Night All! 💤😴

A Full and Busy day!!

I had another busy day today! This morning I slept in, which was nice! Then we didn't do much, until about noon. I had to drive my daughter to the beach in Summerside to meet a friend and her friend's family. After dropping her off, I had to run to the bank to get some cash then drive to a building around 45ave and 94st area. It was where a lady worked and I was buying her plug-in cooler from her. We wanted a small one for the car, although this is smaller than it looked in the photo. Still, it's big enough to hold a couple drinks and some sandwiches, which is all we wanted it for. It was only $30, so the price was right!! From there we went to South Common. We had to go to Michaels, where I bought some watercolour pencil crayons (they had some ranging from $12.99 to $139.99. I just bought a cheap pack, the quality may not be great, but hopefully they'll do until I can afford better ones or I find the ones I already own!!) and a picture frame. My daughter bought a couple books, a colouring book and a sticker book and some good markers, for colouring. From Michaels we went to Walmart. There I bought the kids some water shoes, for BC, as well as a bottle flipping game that my son's been wanting and I bought a learn to draw Disney characters book, just for fun, it was cheap! My daughter got a whole lot more than I did!! She bought herself a new pair of runners, which she could use, some towels, they're nice enough for the price! There were a bunch of movies that she's been meaning to buy, like Fantastic Beasts and Where to Find Them and Logan, so she bought those! Also, she bought her brother a couple of Pokemon chapter books. She found a really great deal for Sharpies and bought a set of them as well. After Walmart, we drove back to Beaumont.

Once in town, before we could go home, I had to pop into Sobeys and No Frills, to get supper. By the time we got home it was after 4:00! It took us a lot longer than I thought it would. I played my son's new game with him, for about a half an hour or so, then we had to start supper. We couldn't eat late tonight, because my son had his soccer practice after supper, at 6:45. By the time supper was cooked and we actually ate, it was time to go!! Tonight my hubby and I went to watch. My oldest was tired and works early and wanted to stay home to get ready for bed. My other daughter has one of her friends from dance over. They spent the afternoon together at the beach, then came to our house to have a sleepover. They wanted to walk up to the store, so they didn't come with us to soccer.

After soccer, when we got back to the house, I went through another bin in my room!! Yay me!! That's two days in a row I attempted to tackle the disaster known as my room! You can now see the entire runner carpet at the end of our bed. It's by no means finished, I still have a great deal to go through, however, baby steps will get me there! It is better than being so overwhelmed that you just do nothing at all!! I feel better all ready and ready to tackle the next part! The dresser! I have piles everywhere, because it won't fit in the dresser! So, before tackling the piles, I have to tackle the dresser! That way, I'll have somewhere to put the stuff as I go through it!! Hopefully, well…that's my plan anyway!!

Tonight I am able to talked the full dose of my new medication that Dr H gave me for sweating buckets!! So far there hasn't been even a little change, nope! Nada! Nothing! I'm still gross and sweaty, rain or shine. He told me to call him if these pills aren't working! So, I'm going to give it until Friday, then give him a call. He said there are other meds that can help with sweating and he'd just phone or fax in a new prescription!! He only works on Tuesday's and Friday's, so it probably makes sense to call him Friday, not Tuesday. This way, if there are any problems with the new med, I can still call him on Tuesday to tell him about it. Fingers crossed that the next one he tries helps!!!

Until tomorrow, Night All! 💤😴

Getting Things Done

I finished my project today! Yay!! I didn't expect to be finished so soon. I thought for sure that I'd be working on it right up until I leave next week. But, nope! I worked on it all day today, other than a run to Sobeys, that's all I did today!! I added the final details and coloured dots today. I'm going to take a picture of it and post it on here once I give it to the person that I made it for. Until then, I'm not going to say much more about it. I hope they like it!!

This evening I decided that I should start going through some of the piles of clothes in my room. If I'm going to be packing soon, I need access to my room. The way it is right now, you couldn't fit a suitcase in here no matter how badly you wanted to! I'm kind of accustomed to the piles, but I know that they drive my hubby up the wall! So, tonight I went through clothes for a couple of hours. I got through two big bins. I got rid of a garbage bag worth of clothes! There's still a lot to go though, but you gotta start somewhere right?! Afterwards, I had a shower to cool off and to wash away the dust I stirred up! So so much dog hair!! Our one dog sheds like mad, especially during the spring and summer. But those bins have been taking up space for over a year now!! So just imagine the accumulated dust and dog hair!! I found a couple of pairs of capris that I have been looking for since the spring. I found a bunch of stuff that no longer fits or that I know I'll never wear. Those are the things that I got rid of. It feels good to finally go through stuff! I also found one of my favourite t-shirts that I haven't been able to find!! All in all, I got a lot done and made some good finds!

It's getting late, so I think I'm going to keep this short tonight. Until tomorrow! Night All! 💤😴

Packed Up My Watercolour Supplies!

Today I woke up and played games,

On the iPad with my son.

It was a new game we just got.

It was really fun!

Then we flipped for my coffee!

We tossed the pod up and in.

He turns anything into a game!

So creative I don't know where to begin.

I filled in lots of the colours,

Working on my project today!

It's a slow process,

That much I can say!

I gathered all of my watercolour supplies,

For my mom and dad to take to BC.

Now I don't have to take them on the train

My parents will have them for me!

They're starting on their way tomorrow,

But stopping in Calgary on their way.

There they'll visit with my aunt and uncle,

And keep going the next day!

I had to drive my stuff to their house,

Since tomorrow's when they go.

My younger daughter joined me for the ride,

We stopped for gas you know!

I couldn't think of anything better to rhyme,

So I wrote that there.

I probably don't need to explain myself,

You likely don't really care!

The words on my post are coming up strange,

When my dad opens up his copy.

I don't know why it's happening to him,

It looks really sloppy!

Every, single apostrophe looks something like this: &amp!!

And I don't know why!!

So I can't fix the problem for him,

Even if I try.

It makes it impossible to read,

What a pain in the ass!

That just seemed the best description,

Sorry I lack class!

We had leftover spaghetti for supper,

When, from my parent's, we got back.

We even had garlic bread!

The food certainly didn't lack!

It's probably not the best for me,

I keep forgetting about my points!

If I don't watch myself carefully,

I'm going to do a number on my joints!

I couldn't find my watercolour pencil crayons,

It's really bothering me!

I hope I can find them before I leave,

I don't know where they could be!

They weren't on the list of supplies to bring,

But they're something I like to use.

I find they work great for detail,

It's the only white I have to use!

So now I don't have any white paint,

In all the stuff I brought.

I hope I gathered everything,

I feel like there's something I forgot!

If I think of anything else to bring,

It'll have to come with me.

Because my parents have my stuff now,

It'll be ready and waiting in BC!!

I'm going to run to bed now.

To sleep I'm about to fall!

So this is the time and place when I say,

Night All! 💤😴

Another Project Day!

For some reason, I haven't been able to share this on Facebook the past couple of nights. I don't know why not. It's not working. I'm doing the exact same thing that I always do, but it's not sending it to Facebook. There's probably another way that I can do it. I'm just not sure how. The current way was simple though…it gives you the option to share it immediately after you publish your post. You just hit "share" and then "Facebook" and voila! it will automatically be there. But now it's not working and I wish that I knew why. I know that I actually have a few people who only read it in Facebook, they aren't subscribed and receiving my posts in an email. I feel bad that I can't figure out what the problem is. I'm trying to think back to when it started and if that coincides with the new update to WordPress. Because, then it could be a glitch with the program and nothing I'm doing or not doing. There used to be something in the settings that I had set up so that all of my posts automatically went to Facebook. However, that stopped working and they added the share page that pops up right after you publish your post. Weird weird weird…

Today I spent a great deal of time working on my project again. I'm getting pretty into it and far. I started on the colours today!! It's starting to look good, if I do say so myself! I admit that I'm awfully biased…and so are my kiddos, and they say it looks good. My hubby is indifferent, but he knows it's important to me. I wish I could show it on here, but I can't. So, it's just as difficult as I thought it'd be. There are so many little fine details that are important overall, but easy to mess up. Very fine little shapes and stripes and dots and zig zags. It's difficult getting them all right or making them look like they're meant to lol like. Also, the way one of the names hangs drives me crazy, but it's too late to fix it, so I have to live with it!! It's going to have to be good enough, because it's permanent – it cannot be changed!! I just hope it's not so obvious to everyone else as it's painfully obvious to me!! We are our own worst critics after all!!

I took a break from my project and my hubby and I cleaned off the top of our dresser. It wasn't as bad as I thought it'd be. Usually, cleaning with myhubby is difficult, because he wants to throw EVERYTHING OUT!! I truly mean EVERYTHING!! He doesn't grasp the concept of sentimental value. Period! Doesn't get it, doesn't understand it, doesn't feel it, it doesn't exist in his eyes …period! He grew up rough. He moved all the time, his childhood was extremely transient. He didn't have a lot of "things". And, even if he did have something, heaven forbid you get attached to it, nothing is forever and it's here today, gone tomorrow. They left with seconds notice, often with the clothes on their back. Nothing would've left to be attached to. It's pretty sad, I think, so now he's this big fake hard ass (because he's a big softy on the inside!!) When it comes to "stuff" he truly has a hard time understanding how something can be meaningful. He's like, "just take a picture of it!!" So, I thought cleaning the dresser would've sucked, but it wasn't bad. We went through stuff quickly and most of it was easy to get rid of. I even went through a stack of papers that's probably been there for three or more years!! Easy peasy!! Now our dresser is cleaned off. There's a few books. A picture, the wii, the tv, my doc and just a couple other things.

Afterwards, I went back to my project while my son played a video game. My hubby had a little nap. Then, once he woke up, he played a video game with my son. I made spaghetti sauce and pasta for supper. We drove my daughter and a friend to her other friend's house. Then, around 10:00, we picked them up. When we got back we got ready for bed , which is what I'm about to do right now!!

Night All! 💤😴
