This morning I slept in pretty late. I didn’t really sleep that well last night though. When I got up I went downstairs and my daughter got home from work. She felt like pancakes, so I made pancakes for her, my son and myself. After we ate we all (except for my younger daughter, who was babysitting with her friend today) got dressed and ready to go to the new Avengers movie in St Albert. We planned on going to the Landmark theatre in St Albert, because a couple Christmas’s ago my aunt gave my kids movie gift cards for Landmark gift cards and we still hadn’t used them! When we got there we lined up to buy tickets, however the movie sold out while we were in the line! We saw Dr Hauptman in the line while we were there!! We went back to the van and searched for other theatres that it was playing at. We often buy our tickets in advance, but since the movie has been out for 3 weeks we didn’t expect it to sell out for a 4:00 in the afternoon show!! We found out that it was playing at 6:00 in West Edmonton Mall, so we bought the tickets online this time and drove to the mall. We went to Bourbon Street and had an early supper at the BP’s. Then we went to the movie. It was really really great!! I won’t say much about it, because spoilers and all that! I will just say that it was really really good. It’s broken all of the records for making the most money of all time. It made a billion dollars opening weekend!! That’s just absolutely a crazy amount of money!! It’s unfathomable!! After the movie we just went home and it was about 10:00 when we got there! We basically got home and I got my son ready for bed and then got myself ready for bed as well!!
