This morning my son stayed home again. So, we stayed in bed again. At lunch time I ended up taking him into school and picking up my daughter. She had a dance competition today. When I got home from dropping him off I had something to eat and then I had a shower. I got myself ready to go to the competition. It is being held at the Edmonton Expo Centre. This is the first competition that my daughter and I have been to that has been held here. It’s different because it’s not a real stage and you sit in chairs in a ballroom, not in a real theatre. So, if you don’t get a seat fairly close to the front, you can’t see the stage!! Or, I can’t. I’m not exactly known for my height! My daughter had two dances today, her first was her solo. She did a great job on her solo, she received a gold! Then right after her solo, she had to change and go directly to rehearsal hall. The next dance was production, Oh The Terrors. They did really amazing as they usually do with production‼️ They were considered intermediate 2 aged 12-13, because they have a large group with little kids and older kids, so that is what the age averages out to be. However, they went against an accelerated advanced group aged 14-15 and beat them, receiving high gold, first and choreographers award!! Yay! I’m certain that Miss Amanda was thrilled, as she should be. They were great! Those were the only dances that my daughter had today. Tomorrow is a crazy busy day! She has 7 dances!! So, I really really need to get some sleep! Also, we need to be there by 8:00am, which means that we need to leave by about 7:00-7:15! So, I definitely need to get myself ready for bed now.
