This morning I actually stayed up after dropping off my son at school. I thought that I was going to sleep really well after yesterday’s procedure, but I actually didn’t sleep well at all!! I kept waking up and spent a lot of time just lying there not sleeping at all!! I was feeling super tired!! So of course I had a bad headache!! I made myself a cup of tea and had my regular plain toast. Pretty exciting stuff I know! Then I wrote in a few Christmas cards for my close friends. I don’t usually get around to doing Christmas cards and I actually only did a couple. I just had a bit of time. I was picking up my daughter after her first block was finished. Even though she didn’t have any glasses, she had an in-class essay in French that she could not miss. I picked her up at around 10:00 and we went to the Vision Gallery. They fitted her with a loaner pair of glasses that she can use until her own glasses are fixed. My daughter was worried about what they would look like, but they were fine!! We got gas in my van, mailed my cards at the Rexall and I bought a couple drinks at Tim Horton’s. Then we went home. My daughter had missed a lot of her second block, so she studied for her test that was going to be in her next class and had something to eat. Then when it was time I took her back to school. I woke up my oldest daughter and she had something to eat. Then we drove to the city together. We did a bit more Christmas shopping. We went to Best Buy and Canadian Tire. Then we drove back home. We had enough time to hide the things that we bought and then I had to go pick up the kids from school. Once we got home I went to Sobeys and got a few groceries. Then I made supper. I dropped my younger daughter off at her school. Her and her friend were volunteering for a movie event at the school and had to be there to set up by 5:30. It went until about 11:00 tonight. I went home after dropping her off. I finished supper. After eating, my daughter and I finished watching a show that we started yesterday. Then we watched Ellen’s game show which is quite funny and fun to watch!! It was a Christmas episode. Afterwards we gave my son a quick bath, so that he’s ready for the birthday party that he is going to tomorrow. Then we watched the Muppets Chambers Carol, we watch it every year. My hubby went to his friend’s house after work, so he said he’d be getting home quite late tonight. Right after the movie ended my daughter texted me and asked me to come pick her up from the school. I went and got her and brought her home. Once we were home I started to get my son ready for bed. I brought him upstairs and he laid down. I started looking for all of the kids Christmas story books. It ended up taking far longer than I expected it to take!! The area beside my bed is now much more organized then it was! However it got really late! My eyes hurt and I am going to bed much later than I intended to!! My son fell asleep on his own while waiting for me to finish looking for things…oops!! Now I’m definitely heading to bed. I’m super-d-duper tired and my head is pounding and my tummy is still so nauseous!! Yuck!!
