This morning I slept in again. I usually get woken up by someone in the family, but I think because it was Mother’s Day they just left me to sleep. When I did wake up I went downstairs and had some strawberries. My younger daughter was making herself grilled cheese sandwiches, so she made one for me. After eating, I went on my phone for a while. Then I found my son some clothes to wear and I got myself ready to go. We went to my mom and dad’s house. We played Wizard and I won today – yay me!! Afterwards we set the table and sat down for supper. My mom cooked a rib roast and it was very tasty!! Mmmm… My oldest got to my parent’s house (from work) at about 7:00. We all played HQ together (none of us got very far…we all got stumped on the same question. We didn’t have enough time to each pick a different answer, so we all were eliminated on the same round!) My daughter ate supper while my dad cleared the table and got dessert ready, my younger daughter made the whipped cream. My oldest finished her supper and my dad and son brought in a birthday cake for me and they all sang happy birthday (I accidentally started singing at the beginning too…oops!!) My Birthday isn’t until tomorrow, but I won’t be seeing my parents tomorrow. They gave me a card with a bit of cash in it, enough for me to treat myself with a pedicure – yay!! After the cake (mom made angel food cake which has always been my favourite!!) we gave my mom her Mother’s Day gift, my daughter picked it up for me at her work. We got her a pretty mug (that comes with a diffuser and lid) and some earl grey tea from the David’s Tea that my daughter works at. Then the kids gave me my Mother’s Day gift, which was also from David’s Tea. I got 2 beautiful mugs (also with diffusers and lids) and two kinds of tea, my favourite, earl grey and a bedtime tea that I can’t remember the name of. We went into the basement and my son sang a couple songs for us. Then we drove home. I drove the van and my younger daughter and son came with me and my hubby drove the car and my daughter went with him. When we got home, I helped my son get ready for bed and said goodnight to him, then I got changed. I went downstairs and walked on the treadmill for about 45 minutes. Afterwards I went upstairs, got cleaned up and ready for bed. It’s pretty late and my tummy is still pretty yucky. It’s been going on for so long now…too frustrating!
Happy Mother’s Day everyone‼️
Night All! 💤😴
