Today was like a repeat of yesterday…not a good day for my hubby. He’s majorly stressed out. I don’t know what is going to happen with work, but something’s gotta give… not a good situation!
I was tired again today. I didn’t sleep well again. I spent a big chunk of the night just lying here. I’ve been thinking, I wonder if the reason that I haven’t been able to sleep is that I haven’t had my Suboxone (because my hubby’s stupid new health insurance people won’t cover it! So I couldn’t get it, the pharmacy wanted $500 for it!!) it’s been about a week now that I haven’t had it and I’ve had difficulties sleeping for the last week or so. So maybe the Suboxone made me sleepy. It is a type of pain killer (for my face pain) and many pain killers make you drowsy. The problem is, I’m tired during the day, falling asleep practically, but I’m lying here at night…too frustrating! Well, if that’s the case, hopefully I get used to having it out of my system, sooner rather than later! (Rather then or rather than?? Hmmm…did I write that incorrectly??)
Today we (my hubby and I) watched some HGTV and then, once my daughter got up, we watched Big Brother. It was the last two episodes from the summer, including the finale. And, I gotta say, I’m shocked by who won!! I mean it aired last night -spoiler alert- but the winner is a shocker. One of the best players made it to final two and he played the game well, very well, and the other player just floated along and did the bidding of others. But the jury this year, talk about bitterness and sore-losers!! Instead of rewarding the great strategic player, who pretty much called the shots all summer long, they gave it to the annoying floater, who couldn’t think for himself! Crazy ness! I mean what a stupid jury!! Get over yourselves, you got out played by a better player. He deserved to win the $500,000.00. I mean that’s half a million bucks! What is wrong with them? I was shocked. My daughter wasn’t only shocked, she was angry! Like physically boiling!! It’s one of the first juries that I have seen, that’s voted emotionally – out of anger and bitterness. Generally, the jury knows enough to vote for the far superior player. What a bunch of dumb dumbs. I just can’t get over it. How selfish. What a reason to win, just because they were angry hat part of his strategy was to get you evicted. That’s how the game’s played and he played it so well. I guess I’m a little angry too! I a, definitely ranting a little bit here. You could even tell that the host thought that it was the wrong winner. Sad…I feel bad for him. He did everything right. He just thought he was dealing with people who could think with their heads and keep their anger and bitterness out of it. It’s ridiculous! I just can’t believe that they were okay with giving the win to the doofus!! Idiots! I hope they look back and see how wrong hey were once they are more removed from it!! Well, that was a disappointing end to a good summer!!
When the show was over, my hubby played his video game for a bit, while I read some of my Jamaica book. Then once the kids were home from school, we, my hubby and I, dropped my daughter off for dance. Then we went to the Sherwood Park Costco. I needed my Lax-a-Day and Metamucil. We needed a few other things too, while we were there. We were trying not to spend too much money, which is easy to do at Costco. We got things that we thought we absolutely needed. Whatever could wait until the next pay cheque, we didn’t buy. It’s so much fun living on a tight budget. It isn’t stressful at all…
After Costco, we went to The Local for supper. I’ve never been there. Did I get the name correct? We had supper and talked about his stupid situation at work. Not feeling a whole lot of job security right now…yikes!! Not a good thing to be feeling after booking a holiday!! Not good at all. I just want to know what the bleep ditty bleep is going on. I ordered a burger, and my hubby ordered a chicken sandwich. They were both quite good!! I was surprised by how tasty it was.
After supper we got gas then we picked up our daughter from dance. She was starving. We talked about what to do for supper all the way home. I found some Subway coupons in the car and since my hubby and I already ate, we just needed food for the kids. We ended up grabbing Subway, then going home. It was almost 7:00 by the time we got home. I read some mor e of my Jamaica book, then put my son to bed. And I got ready for bed and am now here, writing this. My younger daughter may have a bad sore in her ear. She said it hurts, it almost feels swollen, like there’s a lump in it and when she tried to use a cue tip, there was blood on it. I may have to get a dr to look at it. I hope it’s okay. I think I’m going to head for bed. I actually feel exhausted right now. Night All 💤😴‼
