The past few nights I’ve fallen asleep while writing my posts. It’s so frustrating when that happens!! I’m going to try not to do so tonight!! I think I lose whatever quality I may have in my writing when that happens. It that I’m some high quality fancy-schmancy writer, it’s just that I try to at least think before I write. When I wake up at 2:00am sitting up, holding my phone with half of what I’ve written deleted, well I’m frustrated and angry with myself and I’m still tired. So I attempt to get back on my train of thought and continue, but I’m tired and just want to sleep, so I try to write fast. It ends up disjointed and disconnected to the first half of the post and I’m usually so damn tired that I don’t remember what I wrote the next day!! Frustrating, frustrating, frustrating!!!! My hubby will be poking me and saying, “Jenn, you fell asleep again, just go to bed. You’re tired.” I’m always like, “no no, I’m fine. I have to finish.” And then a few minutes later we have the same conversation again. I really need to figure out a way to do this earlier or a way to not be so tired. Hmmm….
Today I checked some more listings, what else is new!? I’m worried about waiting until October to book. I’m afraid that my favourites will be gone and that there will be poor selection by them. The one site already has a pop up alert that there’s only 10% of the rentals left available for my dates!!! Oh dear. This trip planning is stressful stuff!!

I was in slow motion getting ready this morning. My son and I both were. Probably because I fell asleep in an awkward position while writing and it was late when I did get done finally!! So I didn’t actually go to bed for real until quite late. That makes 7:15come quickly!! I’m still getting used to the whole waking up early in the am., well, early for me!! When we finally got up and got moving I drove my son to school and came home and proceeded to fall asleep while drinking my coffee!!!!
I watched HGTV while fiddling on my phone. My daughter came home at 12:30. She wanted chicken soup, so I took two chicken carcasses out of the freezer and boiled the crap out of them and made some homemade soup.
It wasn’t a quick process, but it was sure good!! After school I picked up the kids, popped into Sobeys then headed home. I took the bones out of the soup, chopped up veggies added them, plus some lentils and beans and rice and spices. I just finished right when I had to leave and drive my younger daughter to dance. While she danced, I hung out at my parent’s house and visited. Mom and I looked on all of the sites at rentals for Jamaica. We have very similar taste with regards to the studio apartments, condos, etc. After we did that for a while, it was time to get my daughter and head home. Once home, we got ready for bed and here we are!!! Long day!!! Turns out, I did fall asleep!!! Damn damn damn!!!! Now it’s late!! Night All! 💤😴
