Okay. I officially feel obsessed with sites like airbnb, vrbo, book-it, home away, tripping .com, flipkey, housetrip, vaystays,
Vacayhero, roomorama, and wimdo!!!! I mean, who even knew that there were so many in the first place right?! Many of the properties overlap as people post on multiple sites. Howevecur, there are soooo many it can get overwhelming!! We can’t actually book it until next month, when my hubby gets his bonus, but it’s freaking me out. I’m so so concerned that one of my favourites will be booked by someone else…I really wish we could just book it now and pay for it in full then. Just to reserve it. I think that once we have something chosen, I will chill a bit more!! I still love the place from last night that I found. It turns out that the regular price was $145/night and that came out to about $116/night already calculated with the 20% off…so the price is either $145/night with 20%off or $116/night. She invited me to book it, but I must wait my hubby says…argh!!!! I found a couple others, similarly priced. One of them has an incredible, so so beautiful pool/beach area!! It’s to die for!! It is truly out of a fairy tale and the condo itself is gorgeous as well. It’s very modern looking (many of the places I’ve seen photos of lol like they were decorated in the 70’s!! It has a glass rain shower, with separate deep tub, king bed, modern kitchen free wifi, flat screen tv’s in bedroom and living area just looked very nice. It’s hard to get past the beach and the grounds. They blow me away!! It’s a bit more removed from downtown. But there’s a concierge who helps you with getting around. It’s on the high end of our budget, reviews say it’s like a five star resort !! It’s not that bad though. Also beach access, chairs, cushions, towels etc are all included! Many of the beaches you have to pay for access and again for chairs or umbrellas etc. Go to the beach a couple times and it quickly adds up. Also, this beach doesn’t sound busy!! There are even little covered gazebos on the sand with cushioned lined bed things. It looks divine!! I also found a funky sounding b&b. It’s run by the neatest sounding couple, he has a recording studio in the basement and she teaches yoga. They both do reiki. They help you book things, they’ll drive you places, pick you up from the airport, etc. They got the best reviews. These people apparently make your stay amazing. They have a pool. They serve breakfast or other meals as desired. I think I’m leaning towards having our own condo and/or studio apartment. I like the privacy. Although that couple does sound pretty interesting. Decisions decisions!!??
I had the house to myself this morning. My hubby and oldest were at work, while the other two were at school. I fiddled around looking at places to stay. That can take up a very huge amount of time!! I want to find all of the he best places. Although, i suppose that there are just more and more nice ones. At some point I just have to pick one!! I had to pick my daughter up from work, because she didn’t want to wait for my hubby to come home. We just hung out, watched tv. Big brother…,,,etc. After school, it was my younger daughter’s first dance classes of the season!! Drum roll please!!! She’s ecstatic!! My hubby and I were not so excited!!! Yay! We have to be. Driving almost every day…yay!! Welcome AAOD!!!
I need sleep super badly, so I’m going to head to bed now. Night All! 💤😴
