Had a full day today. My daughter (younger) is feeling better – mostly. At least she didn’t throw up today! So, that’s a good thing. She still felt tired and nauseous, but didn’t actually get sick. So, hopefully, she’s on the mend. She has her math final tomorrow, so I Hope that she’s feeling okay tomorrow. My oldest was throwing up in the night again last night. She didn’t get sick today either, but also didn’t feel 100%. What a nasty bug this has been. And it’s been at such an inconvenient time! Not that you can plan these things. But, if you could, this past week would not have been our first choice!
This week, from Wednesday to Friday is my daughter’s Grade 9 farewell Jasper camping trip. She was pretty beat today. But instead of just studying and relaxing, she needed to get everything ready for camping, because they have to bring their bags to the school tomorrow. We had to find the therma-rest, sleeping bag, buy snacks, buy a rain coat, get the sun block and bug spray, do laundry, etc. This stuff is not fun to do when you don’t feel great. I how that she’s feeling better by Wednesday. You’d think that she would be, since it was this past Wednesday that she started getting sick. I’m thinking that’s a pretty long time for a stomach bug…isn’t it?? My tummy still isn’t great either. I haven’t thrown up like my girls, but I’ve felt super nauseous the past few days. Yuck! I Hopefully one day I’ll get it right, or at least have fun, while about it I write!!” My oldest daughter is feeling better for our yoga class tomorrow morning. I’d still go if she felt sick and decided to stay home, but I enjoy doing it with her. It’s like our thing. I didn’t do my yoga DVD at all this past week! Oops! I meant to, I had really good intentions -I always say that life gets in the way of my good intentions! I feel like this last week flew by! I don’t know how that happens. You feel like you have all this time, then suddenly a week or two have gone by. Bam! Just like that!
My dancer and went to Walmart today. To find a fidget spinner for my son and to find her a raincoat for her camping trip. We had a really fun time in Walmart! I know that probably sounds silly, but, respite not feeling great, she was in a silly mood and she was dancing to the music and balancing things in her head and just being silly! I need to hang onto these moments with my kids. It won’t be long until she’s done high school and starting her “adult” life. These next few years are precious…so, yes, we had fun in Walmart. We were silly and took forever and I’m glad. I love her in all of her silliness!! And now I have to go hang up her laundry, then get to bed! Night all! 💤😴
