Kids didn’t have school today. I spent the whole day playing with my son. We played mouse trap, phase 10, and we did a scavenger hunt together. We also entered a couple contests to win a Nintendo Switch. We had a very full and busy day. My oldest and my hubby were at work and my dancer was at West Edmonton Mall with friends all day, so it was just my son and I for most of the day. We decided to have Maina’s Donair for supper. It’s a local shop owned and run by a woman named Maina. Before opening her donair shop she taught playschool for years! She actually taught my oldest daughter’s playschool. She knows almost everyone in town, from her teaching days and remembers everyone by name. You feel very welcome when you walk in there and the donairs are nummy!! It’s also handy after a long day playing with a six year old boy!
We watched the movie Sing this evening. It was really good! It was fun to watch and all of the singing was really good. It was very entertaining and funny. We all watched it together, which was nice. The only thing is my dancer had homework that was due tonight at midnight. So she was kind of ignoring us and finishing her homework – which was more important than a movie! She is still finishing it. Once she’s done, she gets a break on school work for a week, because spring break is starting!! Fun fun! A whole week of kids being at home! Woohoo!! Looks like I’m going to be really tired next week, lol! I’m going to be heading to bed now. I’m sleepy. 💤😴
