I spent a lot of today entering contests again. It could easily be a full time job! There are numerous websites devoted to contests, sweepstakes and giveaways! They just have lists and lists of contests. It’s crazy! I figure if I enter enough I’ve got to win something, right?! Facebook also has tons of contests. Many are photos of whatever you could win that you have to like, share and comment on. I’d love to be able to take my family on a holiday. We can’t afford it, so why not try to win one. There are quite a few vacay contests. A lot of them are for two though, not families. There are some family ones, they just aren’t as common. I figured out that by filling in my own information in the contacts of my phone that the info is then there for auto-fill. It doesn’t work for all contests, but works for some! It sure saves time. I added as much info as I could, including email and Birthday. I am using a gmail address for the contests I’ve been entering, not my regular email address. I don’t want to end up with too much junk mail from entering my email. Often to enter contests you have to opt into a newsletter or something. Then you get to start receiving emails from the company running the contest. I hope I win something and I’m not totally wasting my time!! It’s better than sitting around doing nothing! I can get abut stir crazy, so it makes me feel like I’m actually doing something!
I’m super tired today. I have been all day! I don’t know why, but I feel like I could easily fall asleep! Today was my son’s celebration of learning. We go to his classroom after school and he takes us through different stations. Each station has an activity that demonstrates skills that he’s learned in certain areas, math, reading, etc. He shows us how he can do the activity and we get to see what he’s learning in school. The teacher is there, to help if you need it and you can ask her any questions you may have. This is what they do in place of parent teacher interviews. If the teacher has any concerns, they can take the time to talk to you, otherwise is more about the parent-child interaction. He’s doing really well. His teacher has no concerns. The biggest problem he’s had with school is that he sometimes just doesn’t want to go. He’d rather be home with his Momma!! Other than that, all is good! We’re pulling into the driveway so I’m going to go! Night all 💤😴
