TN Daughter??? Ug!!

A few people have asked me about what “bad news” I was writing about the other day. For the past month my oldest daughter hasn’t been feeling great. She had a bad cold and sinus infection that left her with a bad ear ache. Well, her darn ear wouldn’t stop bothering her. She saw four different doctors. The one last weekend gave her antibiotics. However, throughout the week she continued to be in pain and thought it was actually getting worse. So on Thursday we went to a dr in Beaumont, who had seen her earlier in the month and had told her she couldn’t see anything wrong with her ear. The doctor looked at her again and her ear is fine. The dr began to tell us about a nerve that ends right in front of the ear. I interrupted her and told her that I myself have Trigeminal Neuralgia. Well, this dr seems to think my baby may have it too 😱😨😢. The week previously, I was joking around with my daughter saying hey, maybe you have TN. You have Ice pick stabbing pain that feels like severe ear pain…you can’t really describe it easily. I reminded her that they thought I had chronic ear infections for over a year before I got the correct diagnosis. I told her that I prayed that she doesn’t actually have it, once we were done kidding around. That’s the night that the dr thought her ear was inflamed and gave her the antibiotics. I was relieved. I wouldn’t wish this illness on my worst enemy, let alone my own daughter!!! But, now, this dr thinks she does have TN. It makes me sick to my stomach. I’m hoping that she’s wrong! It seems too easy, maybe she should see my dr or a neurologist. I just want her to feel better. If she does have it, there’s no one better to understand the pain she’s been in. She may just have it, I don’t know?! I’m no dr.        She has had moments when it’s so bad that she’s cried. I know that feeling. Hopefully, if she does have TN, that it responds to the medication and isn’t resistant to treatment, like mine was. I do not want her to go through what I did. Not even close. If she has to experience the most painful disorder known to humankind, 🙏🏼🙏🏼please God, let it be short lived🙏🏼🙏🏼. The whole thing scares me more than you know. I’m going to try to get some sleep. Night all💤😴

To help with research and treatment for Trigeminal Neuralgia please go to (Trigeminal Neuralgia and Me) to sign a petition to have the World Health Organization (WHO) add Trigeminal Neuralgia (TN) to their “Health topic list.””Hopefully one day I’ll get it right, or at least have fun, while about it I write!!”

Hey! Let me know what you think! Thanx❌😘❌‼️
