It’s the last competition, 

The last dance weekend!

It’ll be go go go,

With four days to attend!

Soon they’ll be no more plies or jumps!

No more splits or lifts!

Say goodbye to the judges.

Oh how quickly time shifts. 

Didn’t she just start?

Feeling nervous and scared?

Yet super excited!!

We found people who cared!

We walked into the studio,

Not knowing a soul.

She was ready to dance. 

And having fun was our goal!

We felt welcomed and accepted, 

Right from the start!

She’s found new friends and role models,

Who dance from the heart!

She’s had so much fun,

And I wanted to thank you,

For a wonderful year, 

For each and every laugh

And every tear!

And I wanted to thank you,

For being kind to my girl. 

Seeing her smiling and happy

Makes me want to twirl!!

Changing studios

Was such a hard thing to do,

And we’re ever so greatful

That we found you!!
