This morning we woke up early and my oldest daughter, my son and I drove to the city. My daughter bought us breakfast and then we drove to Kingsway Mall. We went to a few stores in the mall. Then we drove back home and packed up the van and dogs and drove to Cooking Lake and had both dogs groomed. They both desperately needed it!! It was the very first time that our bigger dog has ever been to a groomer and she looks sooo much better!! I’m certain that they both feel a million times better! While they were being groomed, we drove around the cute little town. We had planned on going to the provincial park, which had a beach, but I guess that it’s actually not all that close to the town and we wouldn’t have been able to get back very quickly when she called us to let us know that she was finished. So we drove around the little town (which does not take all that long)! Then we stopped at a park and my son played for a while. Then we went to the little local store and my daughter and I got some ice cream and my son had a slurpie. It was literally across the street from where our dogs were being done. They had a covered deck. So we sat there and ate our treats. Then they played on phones (my son on mine and my daughter on hers) and I just relaxed. Until the dogs were finished! When they were finally done, they both looked so so much better! I’m sure that they must feel better as well! It wasn’t exactly cheap and it took her quite some time, she missed her 4:30 appointment in order to finish both dogs for us. We gave her a 15% tip…I certainly hope that is good enough!? We aren’t made of money, but she did a great job and the puppers look sooo much better! We left Cooking Lake and drove back home. We stopped at Shoppers and Sobeys. Then went home. I made supper right away, because it was already past 6:30 by the time I started cooking! After supper we just watched a bit of tv. Then my daughter went to bed and I got my son into bed. Now I’m doing the same…I’m just beat! It’s been a long day!
Night All! 💤😴
