This morning I was sooo bloody exhausted!! I hardly slept at all last night!! Goodness I felt tired! I really didn’t want to get up at all! However, of course, I had to! I got my son to school. He was feeling sad, because he really liked his grade 3 teacher and today is the last day of school and then next year she is moving to a different school. Also, Madame Ivanc, his Vice Principal is also moving to a different school and he really really likes her too!! He’s known her for a long time and she kind of has a soft spot for him. She is the mom of one of my younger daughter’s best friends. She’s pretty much seen him grow up. His class has been practicing a goodbye song for her over the past couple of weeks and every time that they practiced it in class he cried. So, he tells me this morning, as I drop him off, that he wants to give them both cards or something! So I’m totally unprepared!! After dropping him off I went home and had breakfast. Then I went to the Dollarama and every single thank you card that they had was sold out! Probably because most people don’t leave things until the last minute…So I had to go to Rexall. Instead of spending $2 on 2 cards, I spent $16 on 2 cards!! That explains why all of the Dollarama cards were sold out…all of the smart people planned ahead!! However, I found 2 very sweet cards that he really liked and bought them each a Timmy’s gift card. Small and simple, but I’m sure that they receive tons of gifts that they don’t need or know what to do with every year and especially since they’re leaving!! Particularly, Madame Ivanc!! Anyway, just as I arrived back home and took off my shoes and sweater, my younger daughter texted me to ask me to pick her up because her last final exam was finished! So, I went back out and got her from school! Then I went home and actually washed my face and cleaned myself up and did my hair, etc. Then I threw some things together for my son’s school picnic and my oldest daughter came home from work and we went to my son’s school. We picked him up from his class and went out and sat beside his friend’s blanket. We got our hotdogs and drinks, etc that I had pre-ordered. Then we sat down and had our lunch. He gave his teacher and Madame Ivanc their cards. Then he went home with his friend to play. My daughter and I went home. Then my younger daughter and I drove to the city to go shopping. She needed some shorts that actually fit her, a couple summer shirts and a new bathing suit. We went to Garage and she found a few pairs of shorts and a few shirts. The shirts were really discounted, I also bought 2 cheap tanks for only $5 each! Then we went to Ardenes. She took a lot longer here!! But they had a sale on bathing suits, bikinis, buy one piece, get the second piece free. She ended up getting 2 tops that can both go with her black bottoms that she already had at home! From there we went to Michaels. We bought a special kind of scrapbooking tape that she is going to use to make her friend’s birthday gift. Then we drove to Winners, where I used the Birthday money that I got from my parents, because we’re broke (so much for my pedicure) to buy the night cream, eye cream, etc that I was out of. On the way home we stopped at McDonald’s. I just had a drink, but she had something to eat. We finally went home. I was feeling so exhausted by then, my head was pounding and my eyes literally hurt from being so damn tired!! My son was still at his friend’s house. My hubby had leftovers, my oldest made herself food, so I just made myself something quick and watched a couple of episodes of CSI with her. My son came home at around 8:00. He was pretty tired. I started getting him ready for bed at about 9:30! Now I’m going to finally get myself ready too! I’m just beat, considering I didn’t actually sleep last night…Ug!
Night All! 💤😴
