This morning I slept in. My son went on his phone/iPod touch beside me for a while. Then we got up and went downstairs to have something to eat and then get dressed and ready to go to soccer-fest. They didn’t cancel it, even though it’s still pretty smoky outside. At the event they have each team start at a different time, and go through 4 different stations doing different things. Some were set up as games and others were more like actual soccer drills. They are all in fun though, with your teammates. Here are a couple photos of my son:
After they’ve finished the 4 stations. They can get tattoos and go on different bouncy castles and play in a dunk tank (my son actually went in the dunk tank!!) Also, each child gets a hot dog, chips and a drink. He had a lot of fun. The weather actually was pretty great! It would have been even better without the smoke of course, but at least it wasn’t raining!! At about 4:00 we went home. I started supper at around 5:00. I needed a couple of things from Sobeys and my daughter wanted me to pick her up from her friend’s house. So I went and picked her up. We went to Sobeys and bought a few groceries. Then we went to the Dollarama to find a card for her friend’s birthday, but we couldn’t find a good one there. So, we went to Rexall and bought one there instead. Then we went home. My hubby had just finished the burgers on the BBQ when we got home. I quickly cut some peppers to eat with it. Then we had supper. After supper, I drove my daughter to her friend’s birthday party. Then I came back home. My daughter and I watched a couple of episodes of our show. Then she went to bed because she works tomorrow morning. I went upstairs and had a shower, because all I could smell was smoke in my hair!! When I got out, I dried my hair. Then I got my son into bed. Now I’m going to get ready for bed also!
Night All! 💤😴
