This morning I slept in. My son woke up and went on the iPad for a while (the kids didn’t have school today, because it was a PD day… I feel like they get a lot of those!!) Anyway, after giving my son the iPad and ear buds, I went back to sleep for a while. I did stay up rather late with my daughter last night watching tv last night…so I was feeling pretty tired!! When I did get up, my son and I went downstairs. We had something to eat and I had my tea. Then we decided to do his volcano kit that he got for Christmas from my mom and dad. We had to mix the plaster and then pour it into the mould. It needed to sit for a while. So my son wanted to play a game with his walkie talkies. However, when we tried to play with them, we discovered that the batteries were dead and that they took 9volt batteries. So, we decided that we would go to the store to buy some. I decided to get something for supper while we were out!! So, we went to the Dollarama for batteries. Then we went to Sobeys. From there we went to the liquor store, because my hubby wanted rum. Then we went to Seven Eleven and bought my son and the girls slurpies!! From there we went home!! By the time we got home, the plaster had sat in the mould for long enough, so we took the mould off. It looked pretty cool! It still needed to dry for 24 more hours. Then my son can paint the volcano. Tomorrow we’re going to go back to the Dollarama so that he can buy some cheap dinosaur toys that he wants to get caught in the volcano when it erupts!! (This is going to be messy…) After we took it out of the mould, I put the groceries away. My oldest daughter did the dishes and I started supper. My younger daughter grabbed her supper to go, because she was going out. Then the rest of us ate supper and watched the movie The House With A Clock In It’s Walls. It was really good. My hubby went to bed about 10 minutes into it. So, my oldest daughter, my son and I watched it together. My younger daughter came home when we were about 15 minutes from the end of it! We all really enjoyed it! It was funny and entertaining! I usually enjoy Jack Black, because he generally makes me laugh!! When it was finished, my oldest daughter got ready to go to work, because they’re training her on the overnights, even though she definitely wasn’t looking forward to it! My son and I played an Iron Man card game that he got for Christmas that he hadn’t yet played!! Then I took him upstairs and got him ready for bed! Then I went on my phone for a while! Now I’m going to get ready for bed!
