This morning I got up at 7:15 instead of 7:30, because I had to leave directly from dropping my son off at school to go to my gastro dr’s appointment. My oldest daughter came with me, because we were going to Kingsway Mall afterwards. My dr said that my Gastroscopy was completely normal and that there were no problems. He can’t explain why I’m losing weight or why I feel nauseous and have diarrhea. He is doing a CAT scan of my tummy and my head. He thinks that some of my meds may be causing it, however that doesn’t make much sense to me, because my meds are significantly decreased from what they used to be and I have been on some of them for a long time, however the current tummy symptoms have just begun in the past year. You would think that if I was going to get these kind of side effects from my meds that I would have had them when I began taking the medication and when I was taking a much higher dose!! It doesn’t seem likely to me. He prescribed me something that I can take about 30 minutes before eating that should help me feel better and be able to eat more. Once I was finished with the appointment, we drove to Kingsway Mall, because his office is at the Hys Centre and Kingsway Mall is only about 5 minutes from there. My daughter had a couple things that she needed to exchange at the Hot Topic. That store is only in West Edmonton Mall or Kingsway Mall. So, since I was going to be so close and I knew that she had to go there, she came with me. Luckily, they had both articles in the sizes that she needed!! While we were there we went into a couple more stores, but we really didn’t stay there for long. Mainly because we didn’t have any money. From there we drove to South Common. We popped into the bookstore, because it’s our favourite store. Then we went to the Walmart to exchange the joycons that I bought my son for Christmas for the Nintendo Switch, because his wasn’t working correctly. They had no problem exchanging it, but they were sold out. So we drove to the Walmart on Ellerslie and I was able to exchange them there, for the very last set!! Thankfully! Then we drove back to town. I went into the Shoppers and dropped off my prescription. Then my daughter and I went into the tattoo place and asked them if they could help us get one of my daughter’s piercings out. She is getting an MRI next week and she can get all of her piercings out except one of them. The first lady who tried to help her could not get it. Then a guy tried it. He actually got it turning a bit, but then it stopped. Hopefully though, since he got it started, we will be able to get it off. It was early dismissal today, so when we got home I only had about 15 minutes before I had to drive to the schools to get the kids. So, I didn’t have time to do my yoga DVD. I ate some crackers and cheese. Then I picked up the kids. We got home and I helped my daughter make some mini pizzas, so that she had supper at dance and lunch for school tomorrow. Then I drove her to dance. I was so tired, probably because by the time I got out of the shower last night and into bed, I was going to bed too late for the time I was waking up. I don’t function well on little sleep…So, when I was driving home I was feeling super tired! Like not safe to be driving tired! I literally felt myself close to drifting off! Yikes! I had to force myself to stay awake!! I picked up my prescription when I got to town. Then I went home. I changed into my comfy clothes and I sat on the couch under my daughter’s heated blanket. My daughter and son were playing Mario Party and I fell asleep. They woke me up at 6:30 and I made supper. After supper my daughter had a shower and my son and I did a short yoga video. All week he keeps coming home from school and getting mad at me for doing yoga without him, so I did a 20 minute video with him. Then my daughter came home from dance. I helped her get some food. Then I got my son into bed. I went on my phone for a bit. Now I’m going to get ready for bed. I’m exhausted.
Night All! 💤😴
