I slept in yet again today. However, I went to bed far too late last night!! So it was pretty much guaranteed that I was going to sleep late today!! When I got up my son and I went downstairs and I made him some waffles. My tummy was already feeling nauseous, so I stuck with my regular plain toast. After eating, I woke up my daughter. She had something to eat. Then the 3 of us went to the Nisku Costco, my younger daughter stayed home so that she could finish her wrapping for tomorrow. We bought a few things at Costco, some that we need for tomorrow at my Mom’s house. Then I went to the Costco liquor store and bought my hubby some Crown Royal. We drove back to town and I picked up my prescription and some Mundare Sausage. I also went to Sobeys and bought a box of mandarin oranges. Then we went back home. We put the groceries away. Then I showered. Afterwards, I started to get supper ready. Usually on Christmas Eve we eat Nachos and watch the Grinch together (the one with Jim Carrey in it), which is what we did tonight! Once the movie was over, my daughter gave my son a super quick bath, while I found him clean pjs. Then the kids got milk and cookies for Santa our. Then the kids and I all lie down in my bed and I read The Night Before Christmas. My younger daughter got herself ready for bed. I read my son a couple more Christmas stories and sang to him. Once he was asleep, I went back downstairs and brought up all of the wrapped gifts. My oldest daughter, my hubby and I got the presents under the tree. Then I came back upstairs and got myself ready for bed. It’s a lot later than I wanted to go to bed!! Tomorrow will definitely be a long day and I don’t want to feel crappy, neither with a headache or a nauseous tummy. I know that going to bed late and waking up too early almost always guarantees a migraine…my daughter will likely be waking us up early too! My son will be anxiously waiting for her to come in to get him too!! Sigh… I hope that I feel okay!!
Night All! 💤😴
