This morning I didn’t have to get up early, because the kids didn’t have school. I got up at about 10:00. I got dressed and ready to go. Then I took my younger daughter to the dr in town. She has a rash on her shoulders and back that she has had before. The dr gave her a prescription for some pills that helped her before. We took the prescription to Shoppers and while they were filling it we got her some shampoo, conditioner and mascara that she needed. Then we got her prescription. We drove back home. When we got home I had a quick drink and went on my phone, then my hubby and I went to Fountain Tire and picked up my van. They said that we really should be replacing all 4 of my tires. This didn’t surprise me at all! Considering I was sliding all over the place since the very first time it snowed and I could barely drive down our street when it was not plowed, as it took forever to get traction in order for the van to get moving (which was why I couldn’t even tell that the tire was flat yesterday until I was on the plowed street!!) and I also easily got stuck in even a little bit of snow! However, we definitely can’t afford two more tires!! Thank goodness my dad paid for these two!! Anyway, they put the 2 new ones on the front and the old crappy ones on the back, since I have front wheel drive. I already noticed a huge difference on the way home! So, even though my back tires still aren’t great, at least my front ones are way way better!! I was even able to drive up the driveway without driving like a crazy person, which was the only way I was able to get up our driveway before. When we got home my son had woken up my oldest daughter. I went upstairs and was talking to my younger daughter. My mom called, so I talked to her for a while. My hubby had to go to work. Even though he never officially had an interview for the data entry position, he has been doing that position all week. The second day the manager watched him for about 10 minutes and then said that he obviously knew what he was doing, so he left him to do it. I started supper early, because I was making homemade chicken soup and had to take a couple chicken carcasses out of the freezer and put them into water in my Grandma’s big, old cast iron pot on the stove. I had some tea and my exciting dry toast. I had a nice, long relaxing shower while the pot was on the stove. Then I checked it when I got out. I drained all of the bones and meat, then I cut and added the veggies, rice and spices, etc. When the meat/bones were cool enough to touch, I separated the meat from the bones. Then I added the meat back into the soup. When the veggies were cooked and the rice wasn’t crunchy, we ate supper. My younger daughter went to her friend’s house after eating. The soup was super tasty!! My daughter, son and I watched the rest of Mary Poppins. My son really got into it. He actually had tears in his eyes at the end when Mary Poppins leaves. It was very sweet! When it was finished, we drove to Shoppers to pick up my daughter’s prescriptions. When we got home my daughter and I watched a show. Then my son and I played a game. My hubby came home from work. My son and I played a game on my phone. Then I got him into bed. I went on my phone for a while, a little longer than I intended to. I’m tired now, so I’m going to get ready for bed now.
Night All! 💤😴
