I slept for some of the night last night. My son was really sick last night. He had a fever of 104 at bedtime. He slept until the medicine wore off, then he woke up again and started coughing again and his fever went back up again. So, I woke up again. I gave him more medicine. It took him a while to fall back asleep. It also took me some time to fall back to sleep too! My son didn’t go to school this morning. His fever was still pretty high and he was still coughing a lot. I gave him more medicine and he stayed in bed. I didn’t really fall back to sleep this morning. I did lie in bed, but I didn’t sleep. Turns out that my hubby has to interview for this position on Monday. He thinks it’s more of a formality than anything, hopefully he’s right. He doesn’t really have all of the details. He’s pretty sure that the pay is a bit less than what he’s currently making, which isn’t great, but it’s better than making nothing! He also got an email about a different job interview Monday morning at 11:30. So he’s going to go to that one as well. My son and I got up at about noon. We went downstairs. I got my daughter up. We had some tea and something to eat. My son just laid on the couch in between us. When my hubby got out of bed my daughter and I went to my mom and dad’s house to dry her big comforter in their dryer. It’s a better dryer than ours, with more settings. We visited with them while we waited for it to dry. When it was finished we went home. We stopped and got gas on the way home and once we were in town we got a few groceries at the Sobeys. My son wasn’t much better when I got home. The medicine does work to bring his fever down, as long as I stay on top of it and give it to him on time. When I got home I made supper. We ate supper, then my daughter and I watched the sequel to a Christmas movie that we watched last night. Then I got my son into bed. Afterwards, I had a shower and then I got ready for bed myself.
Night All! 💤😴
