Drive To BC

This is going to be a short post!! I’m sooo tired right now! We got up early, to leave for BC. We made sandwiches before we left and, of course, we loaded the van. It took us a while to get going. So, even though we were up at about 7:30, we didn’t leave until about 10:30. My oldest daughter and I alternated driving. Every time that we stopped, we switched places. We made it!!! Usually my hubby drives the whole way! I was a bit nervous about it, but we did fine. My eyes are red and puffy because of how tired I am. That’s what they do when I am tired. They get all puffy. We arrived in Blind Bay, just about 20 minutes out of Salmonarm on the Shuswap at about 8:30, BC time. We did run into quite a bit of construction on the way and had a few bathroom breaks. Also, neither of us speed when we drive. Especially on the curvy mountain roads. We unloaded the car and figured out where everyone was going to sleep. My dad BBQ’d some hotdogs and after eating we talked for a while. Then we made a bed with thick foamies on the floor of the upstairs bedroom, my oldest daughter and I are sharing the bed and my son is sleeping on the floor. My younger daughter and her good friend, who came with us, are sleeping in the basement bedroom. By the time we got organized and ready for bed, it got pretty late again. So, I’m going to go to sleep.

Night All! 💤😴
