Today we woke up earlier than we generally do on a Saturday. Well, earlier than I do that’s for sure!! We all got dressed and ready and drove to Calgary. We arrived in Calgary at about 1:00 and went to check in at our hotel, I called yesterday regarding early check in. We wanted to change our clothes etc. They said that our room wasn’t ready. We had to change in the pool area. The change rooms were small and didn’t even have mirrors. We managed though. Then we drove about 10-15 minutes to my uncle and aunt’s apartment complex. We were there for my uncle’s 90th Birthday party. A few of my cousins were there, as well as another uncle and aunt other than the one celebrating his birthday. My parents were also there. We stayed there for a few hours. We helped them clean up at the end of the party, once everyone had left the little hall. We then drove back to the hotel and were able to check in this time. We went to our room. My younger daughter went for a quick swim in the pool with my son for a short while. Then they came back upstairs and got dressed again and we went to BP’s and met my cousin and her husband, her son and his family, my uncle and aunt and my parents. We all had supper and visited. We said our goodbyes and then we came back to the hotel and we all went in the pool. We came back to our room, took turns showering, and hung out a bit. Now I’m going to go to bed. Everyone’s sleeping except my oldest daughter and I. We’re going to bed though. Right now! Night All! 💤😴
