Today started out slowly. I took my time getting up and had tea and breakfast. I played a bit with my son. My daughter got up and we watched a show while she ate breakfast. We hung around a bit, not doing much. Then, around 1:30 my oldest and I went to No Frills, armed with a meal plan for the next two weeks and a grocery list to accompany it. It was a BIG shop! We pretty much had to go up and down every isle in the store. After No Frills, we went to Rexall and I picked up my prescription. Then we went to Sobeys and picked up a few things that we don’t buy at No Frills, like bread, deli meat, and s few other things. Next we popped into Home Hardware, I had been there the week previous and saw a stable for a nativity scene. It was just the stable, made out of wood. I have a carved wooden set of the people and the animals, without the stable, and they fit together perfectly!! We went home after a Home Hardware. It was past 3:30 by the time we got back home and we were going to my parent’s house for dinner. So we quickly got ready to leave and everyone piled into the van (except my hubby, who had a work get together in BP’s lounge last night. He managed to drink way too much and was really feeling it today!) We got to my parents and my dad took my son on a walk, while my younger daughter did her homework and my mom, my oldest and I visited while mom was finishing up supper in the kitchen. We had supper, a nummy pork roast with homemade apple sauce, potatoes, squash, veggies and fresh buns. It was very good. After supper we had pie and coffee. Then we played a few rounds of Phase 10, until we had to go home (the kids haves school tomorrow!) We got home and I got my son ready for bed and put him into bed. Then I got myself ready and now I’m going to go to bed!! Night All! 💤😴
PS. My damn face is in pain ☹️
