I had a long and busy day today. It’s 1:30 am and I’m super tired. So I’m going to try to keep this short! While the kids were at school, my oldest and I had to:
Get gas
Buy a card, gift bag, bows and tissue paper
Pick up a buy and sell item
Run to the dentist for my daughter to pay an old bill and book appointments
Totally wipe down the entire used exersauser we bought for my niece’s baby shower
Wrap the gifts – a ton of clothes (pants, shirts, sleepers, sweater, button up shirts, slippers, snugglie, little outfit – we got a great deal and bought her a ton of clothes
Organize the game shelf in the basement
Pick up the kids
Take a shower
Get ready to go
Pick up my daughter from a friends
On the way to the baby shower we drove to a ladies house in the city and bought some Kylie liquid lipstick. Then we drove to my niece’s place for her baby shower. It was really nice to see her and the baby and to meet people who have been there for her and who’ve taken her in when she needed it. They were very kind and good people. I got a really good feeling from them and I’m super relieved. They clearly care about her a great deal. I think that she was surprised by how much we bought her. She seemed to like it all. We had a nice visit with them. Other than us, there were the two people who my niece lives with and their daughter, two girls from my niece’s church and the grandmother of the girl who lives there. Little Zavier was pretty cranky!! The debate about letting babies cry themselves to sleep was brought up. I, personally, am on the side where you pick the poor little one up if they’re crying. Not everyone there agreed with me. We had a very good talk. We left around 11:20 and got home at around 12:00. ( I’m starting to fall asleep, I have to wrap this up!!) once home, I briefly talked to my hubby, then I went upstairs and got ready for bed. And here I am!! And now I’m going to bed!! It’s ridiculously late!! Night All! 💤😴
