Oh how I missed you iPad!! My middle daughter kept “borrowing” my iPad, to the point that I haven’t actually used it in months!! I didn’t realize how much I missed writing my posts on it until I picked it up right now! I’ve been using my phone. Which does work. I just prefer the iPad. Now that she has her new phone I noticed that she wasn’t using my iPad nearly as much as she had been. So, since it is mine after all, I went into her room (she’s sleeping over at a friend’s) and got it. I love it!
Guess what I remembered to do or rather not to do?? I didn’t take my pills tonight! It’s getting late, not 2:00in the morning late, but midnight late. Usually I would have taken my pills when I was getting ready for bed. However, I decided that I should try to start taking them after I write my post, instead of before. It just makes sense really… I mean why take a sleeping pill if you don’t want to fall asleep yet?! I mean we all know how much I hate falling asleep while writing. I prefer to finish with time to mess around on Facebook or something before I go to sleep. Last night I looked up a couple hotels that are recommended in the new book about Jamaica that I bought. I love being able to do something like that before bed. I hate waking up with my phone (or the iPad) in my hands, sitting up with most of my post deleted having to start all over again! So, hopefully taking my pills after writing will help.
My younger daughter got her hair done today. She got a ballyiage (okay, so that’s definitely not how you spell it!! It’s just what it sounds like!!) it’s where you lighten the bottom 2/3’rds of your hair…sort of. It’s hard to describe. It’s not dyed in a solid line though, it gets lighter gradually. It doesn’t look like it grew out and part isn’t dyed. It looks more natural. It actually looks really nice. She loves it! She is very very happy! She has wanted to dye her hair like this for some time. For her birthday she asked for money so that she could afford to get it done. And that’s what she’s done!! She was super excited and nervous this morning. But she is really happy with it. I will add a photo!! My photos of her hair are actually on my phone…hmmmm. I wonder if I can figure out hat air drop thingy. I’m going to try!! Hey!! I think I did it!! Here’s what it looks like from the back!!
After her hair appointment, we came home briefly, then we dropped her off at her friend’s house and went grocery shopping. We made a meal plan for the next couple of weeks and bought most of what we’ll need. I find when I plan ahead I eat better and we end up spending less money. If I’m deciding day to day what to eat, we end up spending much more money! When I have a plan I do still sometimes have to pick up some things, like fresh ingredients, but for the most part, we spend less. We went to No Frills, Sobeys and Shoppers. Then I was exhausted!!
We came home and had supper, then my oldest had to go to bed, because she works at 4am. My hubby is still camping for a work wedding (he went to BC. They left Thursday early in the morning and stayed at my mom and dad’s BC house. Then they went to the campground on Friday and stayed there Friday and tonight. They’re driving home tomorrow.) and my middle daughter is at a friend’s, so it was just my son and I. We played for a bit. Then he played his Zelda game, while I looked at more places in Jamaica. Then we came up to bed and here I am. I think that I am going to go to bed now. Night all😴💤‼
