It doesn’t matter how many spaces I add between paragraphs or stanzas, this stupid program just gets rid of them…let me tell you – it annoys me to no end!! I put a space there for a reason guys!! Jeepers! Time for them to fix that glitch in
programming. Drives me crazy!! I just had three spaces before the end blurb that I add to all of my posts. I went out for a second to read something and I come back and, bam! There’s no spaces between what I just wrote and the end blurb at all. Super annoying much??
Anyway, today we had a pretty lazy Saturday morning. We slept in and then just lazed in bed for quite a while! It was super nice!! We finally wandered downstairs around 11:30 – lol. My daughter, the younger one, was watching So You Think You Can Dance, but it was an episode that I’d already seen. I had some coffee and read some of my Jamaica book, from, or rather, by Lonely Planet. It has plenty of useful information in it so far. I was reading about the currency exchange. It close to $100 (Jamaican dollars) to $1 (Canadian dollar). In other words, every $1 Canadian is equivalent to $100 Jamaican dollars!! That’s a bit crazy!! I just know I’ll get confused, once it’s in high amounts!! Good thing there are calculators on phones!! I also have now read about 3 separate waterfalls that you can climb and/or swim in. Two compete for the most beautiful waterfalls on Jamaica. Sorry I keep rambling about Jamaica. Can you tell that I’m excited and that I don’t travel far away very often?? I’m just so so pumped!! It’s just too exciting!! I also read more about the dolphin swimming. There are different packages you can buy, the best being $169 American. Something we’ll have to save for. They actually have 25% off if you book before September 30th. We have to figure it out!! There are no festivals happening when we’re there, which is a shame, but there’s supposed to be some street dance parties that get crazy with “the most provocative dancing you’ve ever seen”. My hubby gets a bonus in October and wants to use that money to book where we are going to stay. However, I’d like to book right away, just to hold the room. Then we can it for it with his bonus later. I’ve found tons that say pay upon arrival. Even some that don’t require credit cards to book. I would just like to know where we’re staying. I think it’s freaking me out a bit. The web–sites don’t help. They’re constantly saying stuff like “Only one room available…in high demand…just booked…going fast…etc” Do you think that it’s honest about one room left or is it trying to freak you out?? Because that’s working!!
Most of the day was spent reading my book or looking online for places to stay. My hubby and I looked at our budget for the next five months and panicked a bit. There’s not many places to cut back to save for our trip. Especially with dance starting up. That’s always expensive!! I’m not quite sure how we’re going to pull it all off. Damn it!! But, we will figure it out!! Don’t ask me how we’re doing Christmas this year… sigh!
I made us chicken salad for supper. It was good. Yummm!!! It’s one of our easier meals. Everyone eats it, there’s no fighting or fussing. It’s a go to meal for us! Easy peasy!!! After supper, my hubby and daughter had to go to bed early for work tomorrow morning. I played the Balloon game with my son. Then I put him to bed. And now I’m putting myself to bed!! Night All! 💤😴
