Lazy Girls

Today was another perfectly lazy day! When we woke up it was already pretty late, so I ended up sleeping in a lot longer than I had intended. My son’s good friends mom texted me to see if he, my son, wanted to play today. So, I got him moving and got him dressed and fed, than I drove him to his friend’s house! Once he was there, I could have gotten a lot accomplished, or I could have finished the trees that I was painting at my

Mom and Dad’s house. However, instead of being productive, I drank some coffee, had some tasty blueberry scones and watched Big Brother with my oldest daughter. We’re really behind!! It’s one of those reality shows that you either love or hate!! It’s a good season though. They’ve added temptations this summer and it’s made it very entertaining to watch! There are a lot of big, clashing personalities, which is causing a lot of conflict. I don’t usually like watching people fight and be petty, but this is so over the top that it’s funny to watch!! Well, we’re definitely hooked, because I lost count of the number of episodes that she and I watched today! We caught up to my younger daughter. She was at dance camp today. She hasn’t gone for the whole week, seeing as we just got home on Tuesday, but she went today and is going again tomorrow. She had a lot of fun today and got to see all of her dance friends, whom she hasn’t seen in a while. She came home really happy and begging to go again tomorrow! So, we told her that going today and tomorrow will end up being part of her Birthday present in a couple weeks. My oldest has her Birthday first, on the 19th, then ten days later, on the 29th it’s my younger daughter’s 15th Birthday. My oldest is turning 20!! I can hardly believe it! I always say that it’s her birthdays, not my own, that make me feel old! I mean, how can I possibly be the mother of a soon to be twenty year old??!! Crazy!! When my younger daughter came in, we had perfect timing, as we were just at the exact episode that she last watched! So, she joined us and watched a couple more of the episodes. My hubby BBQ’d some supper and fries and we didn’t even move – we just ate in front of the tv. I did mention the laziness…right?? After watching Big Brother forever, I played a made up game with my son with his nerf-guns. We had a box with a hole in it. We used the hole as the target and took turns taking three shots each. After this game, I got Daisy’s ear medicine done and then came up to get ready for bed. And here we are!! Night All! 💤😴
