Sweating Spider-Man

My dr gave me a new medication to help with the sweating!!! Yay!! I’ve never been so happy to be adding a medication to the list!! Usually it’s all about trying to get off meds. This time it’s like, yay a new medication!! He said it’s a safe med for long term use. He also said that excessive sweating is one of the most common side effects to the types of meds I’m on. At least two, if not three of my medications can cause excessive sweating. He also said that we should know in a couple weeks or so if it’s helping or not. If so, great! If not, we try a different med. I’m very happy. He also gave me a prescription for orthotics for my stupid plantar Fasciitis. I have no idea where I take the prescription to actually get the orthotics. I’m going to search online tomorrow and figure it out. He also said that if they don’t help, that he can prescribe a cortisone shot into my heel (ouch!!). He said that people find a lot of relief with the cortisone shots. However, it does really sting when being injected with the cortisone. But, if nothing else works and that will help, I guess that I’ll go for it.

After the dr’s office we (my hubby, my oldest, my son and I; my dancing girl is still at camp!!) went to the matinee of the new Spider-Man movie. It was entertaining.  I enjoyed it. I liked how he was figuring things out, learning how to be a superhero. He didn’t have these powers and then bam! He’s suddenly the best fighter, taking down the bad guys etc. I liked how he was just a kid figuring out what to do with these new found powers of his. He struggled, it wasn’t automatic or easy. He had to figure it out. Anyway, it was a good movie!

On our way home from the movie, we stopped to drop off my prescriptions at Rexall and we went to Sobeys and bought stuff to make sandwiches for supper. The sandwiches really hit the spot!

It’s only 9:15 and I keep falling asleep as I stare at my phone. I think I’m going to go get ready for bed now. A nice, long sleep will do me good.

Night All! 💤😴
