Today was a bit better than yesterday and the day before. I ate fairly normally. I didn’t have diarrhea. My tummy still had nauseous moments, off and on, but that was it. I still didn’t really do that much though. It was an awfully lazy day. My dad came over and put a new lock on our patio doors. It hasn’t locked for some time now and has been really bothering me. I remember, as a little kid, asking my mom and dad if the doors were locked at bedtime. I don’t know why, I just always felt/feel way better when I know all of the doors have been locked. It’s even worse when my hubby is out of town and it’s just the kids and I here. It would make me crazy. I would lock the screen, even though that’s hardly secure!! Now I can rest better, knowing that it locks. My hubby always says, “locks only keep honest people out!” But, I don’t know if I necessarily believe that. If a drunk person or kids screwing around, or even just a petty thief tries a door and finds it locked, it may just be enough to deter him/her from trying to get in. So, whether or not it makes me naive, I feel relieved lying in bed knowing that ALL of my doors are locked! Also, there have recently been a bunch of break-ins in Beaumont. The thief got into one of the houses through an open window. Imagine how easy an unlocked door would be!! What a horrible violation that would be! To come home and find someone has been through your stuff!! You would feel so, so, I don’t know a better word than violated!!
I watched that newer Netflix show, with Drew Barrymore, called The Santa Clarita Diet.(I’m not certain I spelled that correctly!!) It was pretty funny!! Drew Barrymore plays the mom, who becomes “undead”. As in, a zombie mom. Except she’s totally high functioning and doesn’t look any different – not like your typical zombies all blood and gore and yucky stuff! She seems perfectly normal, except for the fact that she eats humans…It’s not something that I’d typically watch, however, it was surprisingly hilarious!! I’m a huge Drew Barrymore fan, which is why I watched it in the first place. It was really funny. There were places where it was like laugh out loud funny! I really enjoyed it!!
Okay. I feel nauseas again and I’m starting to do that damn falling asleep thing. I really don’t want to delete this post, so I’m going to go to sleep now. Night all! 💤😴
