Tattoo Day!!

My younger daughter has been missing too much school recently…she missed Monday because she was exhausted from a weekend of dance. However, she missed today because she wasn’t feeling well at all. At first we thought she had one of her migraines, but, in addition to her pounding headache, she looks super pale, her whole body is aching and she just feels crappy! I just hated having to call in again for her. I’m afraid she’ll get too behind. However, so far she’s been doing well at keeping on top of things and catching up if the need be, hopefully that doesn’t change.

Today my oldest daughter and I are getting our mother/daughter tattoos. I’m getting Mrs. Potts and she’s getting Chip. If you put our arms together it will look like Mrs Potts is pouring tea into Chip. We are using the watercolour technique for the tea. It’s really cute and it suits us. We both live almost anything Disney and they felt like the perfect mother/child representation. I’m sitting here waiting while they finish Chip and then it’ll be my turn for Mrs Potts. Oh! They’re done. I’ll add a photo later of the final look. Gotta run!

Wow! Does the watercolour part ever hurt! Y’Ouch!! When she’s colouring it in it just burns. Wowza! The rest, the Mrs Potts drawing wasn’t so bad. You can feel a strong vibration and it feels like someone is using an epilator on you. I call mine my hair-puller-outer! That’s the best comparison I can come up with to what it feels like when getting a tattoo. It didn’t take very long and she changed us very reasonably. The total for both was only $210, many people pay far more than that. I know that the big one on my arm was over $400 and that was at least 4 years ago. I was cold, so I put a long sleeved shirt on and I can feel it rubbing on my arm where it’s extremely tender right now. Again I say y’ouch!!  Okay. Here’s a photo that my daughter took:

What do you think? Pretty cute eh?? I’m going to run. Until tomorrow, Night all! 💤😴
