Busy. Yay. Yay!!

Today was a busy day! Well, I actually had a nice, relaxing morning and a busy afternoon and evening. This morning I enjoyed a few episodes of Modern Family, while savouring my coffee☕️. There was a hilarious episode about the father’s reaction to the news of his 18 year old daughter’s intimate relationship with her boyfriend. And another good father/daughter episode, where the father is trying to force events in an attempt to create the perfect, charming memory for him and his younger daughter, because their older neighbor died and had a poor relationship with his daughter and he’s suddenly worried that’s what will happen to them. I still really enjoy this show and find a lot of it very relatable to real life. It’s definitely a show I’d recommend if anyone’s lookino for a good laugh. This afternoon my oldest daughter and I got all of the bottles into the van, we had to put all of the seats down flat and then we put a layer of garbage bags down and piled in about 20 or more garbage bags of bottles! We’ve been saving for a very long time. It filled the van up to the roof. We got almost $200.00!! (I did say we had a lot!!) Afterwards, we went to Dollarama to get treat-bag stuff for my son’s 7th Birthday party, coming up this Saturday , the 6th. They didn’t have Avengers themed party stuff, but, after dropping my daughter off at dance, we got some Avengers stuff at Walmart!! Yay! I was so happy we found stuff. The cake we ordered is Avengers themed and the bike we’ll be giving him on Saturday is an Avengers bike!! They even had Avengers balloons!!  From Walmart we went to Costco to get stuff we needed from our grocery list, as well as juice boxes and mumchies for the party. We used the rest of the cash and some. Costco adds up so quickly…it may be a good deal, but everything seems to be around $10 million and you get only 10 things for that price and you’re already at $100.00!! And, well, we definitely bought more than 10 things!! I buy my coffee for my Kurig there too. It’s about $40.00 for 100 pods. All these things add up!! It started to blow by our budget, so we cut out things from the list that weren’t absolutely needed for a meal, or things where we didn’t necessarily need the huge size, like toilet paper and paper towel.  In the end it came to about $250. Oh, it’s 11:11, make a wish!! That’s what my dad and I always did, when I was growing up and now, I do it with my own kids (or if I’m by myself – lol!!  After Costco we headed back to Beaumont. We went to CIBC, so my daughter could take out some cash and meet a lady there to buy an Oilers jersey from Varage Sale. Then we went to Sobeys and brought cupcakes for my son to take with him to school tomorrow, as well as hotdog buns for supper. Then we finally were able to go home. My daughter beat us there, coming home from dance!! We BBQ’d and played outside for a bit and then ate and got ready for bed.  And here we are!! And even though it’s not as late as usual, I’m doing that whole falling asleep thing that drives me crazy!! I’d better get a great sleep tonight, because I’m wiped! Night all! 💤😴
