Alone, she gazes out her window
Alone, she ponders in silence
Alone, she dreams of something more
Alone, she considers how she got there
Alone, she recalls when times weren’t so lonely
Alone, she reaches for the phone
Alone, she pulls her hand back, apprehensive
Alone, she tries to contain her tears
Alone, she examines her life
Alone, she questions herself, “Is it her disease”
Alone, she wonders when she became this introverted, uncertain person
Alone, she lets the tears come
Alone, she prays for relief
Alone, she wishes she could turn back time
Alone, she feels like just a shell
Alone, she prays for even a fraction of the person she was
Alone, she questions the value of her life
Alone, she has many dark thoughts
Alone, she feels empty
Alone, she forgets much
Alone, she cringes from the pain
Alone, she realizes that her heart is also pained
Alone, she feels isolated and worthless
Alone, she questions her sanity
Alone, she doubts herself
Alone, she knows she should reach out
Alone, she knows she must not wait until she’s too far gone
Alone, she yells to God, “Why me??”
Alone, she wishes she could leave it all behind
Alone, she wonders if she’d be missed
Alone, she believes that she has no options
Alone, she feels completely stuck
Alone, she wants it to stop
Alone, she wants it to end
Alone, she should never be
Alone, she must reach out to someone
Alone, she doesn’t believe there’s anyone to reach out to
Alone, she sobs
Alone, she begins keening
Alone, she falls to her knees
Alone, she prays for help
Alone, she doesn’t know where to get help
Alone, she needs to go online and search for the Facebook group: Not Your Typical Chronic Pain & Fucking Anxiety Family
NOT ALONE, she can find support, laughs, friendship, and much more.
NOT ALONE, she can talk about anything and everything; there is nothing that you can’t say…well, unless you’re being rude or inappropriate (obviously).
