When something bad happens,
How do you respond?
Do you calmly assess things,
Or wind up needing bail bonds?
In life there are always
Highs and lows, Ups and downs.
Your reaction when things are low
Can set you apart from the clowns!
“Freaking out” or “losing it”commonly describe
Those who overreact
When they hear bad news –
They act half-cracked!!
Take time to practice
Thinking things through.
Get good at knowing
What you should do.
Then in moments of high stress,
When things seem to implode.
You’ll be more prepared
To keep yourself in a steady mode.
Then people will look to you,
With admiration and respect.
Instead of stepping back,
Thinking, “what the heck?!”
The moral of the story
Is find a way to self-regulate!
So that during intense times,
You won’t be fitted for a jacket that’s “straight!!”

This was written feeling very nauseous, with a cramping up tummy and during cold sweats…that is why it is so… Well, I don’t know the word that I’m looking for, I just don’t particularly like today’s post. But I really need to lie down and sleep!
