Had a good, albeit long, day today. I’m feeling really tired and my face is, surprise surprise, acting up. I went to Cora’s this morning and I finally got to meet some people, in person, who I’ve met online through the 21 Day Fix, online Beachbody group. After he small group of us met at he restaurant for breakfast, we went to the super Saturday event. They had some success stories, people talking about how they’ve built lives from the Coaching business side of things. There was an optional workout, a bunch of recognition for different levels of success that people have accomplished and, not surprisingly, they had shakeology to drink. It was a lot of fun. I definitely was the oldest of our small group (only four of us), but it wasn’t overly obvious. They were really nice ladies and we talked and laughed and really had a good time. I got to taste the cafe latte flavoured shakes, that isn’t yet available in Canada. I was pleasantly surprised. To be honest, I was worried that it was going to be a group of overly hyped people with that “Amway” type of phoney positivity and in your face kind-of sales people. I’m definitely glad that I went. I’m trying to learn to step outside my comfort zone and put myself out there more. At least that’s what I’m trying to do! I know that if I want to try to turn this into more of a business, rather than only being just taking car of me and my health, that I have to be willing to take some risks and just give it a go. One of the big things that they encourage is sharing your personal story with people (which I do every single day on here!!). If others see you being successful with weight loss and fitness and overcoming obstacles life likes to throw at you, it is inspiring and others want to hop on the same bandwagon. It’s something I’m starting to be a bit more comfortable with, because it focuses on helping others to find success in their own lives. Also, the products work. If you follow the program you will be successful, because they have top notch programs. These are the creators of The Insanity workout series…crazy hard, but crazy results if you stick with it!! My daughter and I are just finishing the 6th week of our Tai Chen program and I feel like we just started!! I’m going for something harder next time…baby steps right? And, I really enjoy the Tai Chi, but it’s not exactly a kick butt, cardio intense workout. However, after doing nothing for so long, it fit into my lifestyle most appropriately. My lifestyle of doing absolutely nothing that is! You can’t exactly go from hardly even functioning, to Masters Hammer and Chisel (another one of their crazy, hard core, workout kits!) I won this workout series in the first group that I participated in and it looks crazy hard! Anyway, I’m just beat and I’m going to head to bed. Night all😴💤
