Well, I guess my daughter and I were wrong when we thought we fixed the settings to allow people to comment on this blog. Strange. We did a “practice” try, to make sure it worked. She went onto her iPhone to “read” my blog, she left a comment and I received the email to inform me that someone has commented on my blog. Then, I heard nothing back after that blog when I specifically asked people to comment, so I could be sure that it was working. So, either no-one is really interested in leaving comments, or I still have something set wrong in my settings. I guess I’ll have to try again.
Today felt like I was continuously rushing…I had to rush to get my son to kindergarten on time (we just made it). Then I didn’t realize how quickly the time passed and when I thought it was around two, I discovered that it was almost 3:05 and I should have already been at my daughter’s school, so I had to rush there. Also, from there, to my son’s school. I had hardly any time once we got home before my daughter started bugging me to get going to dance. She hates being late and I get that, but she gets a little pushy and impatient if I’m not stepping out the door when she thinks we should go. (I get frustrated when she knows it all and doesn’t hold back when she thinks that it’s time to go. Also, just a little note to say I’ve only been about 4 or less minutes late once since dance began in September!!) On the way home, I went into Millwoods Town Centre to look for gifts for my good friend Claudia and her girls. We’re going to their place for dinner this weekend, so I knew that I had to get that finished. However, my older daughter wasn’t thrilled that I didn’t come straight home (she often forgets who the parent is). Apparently it’s now my fault that she wouldn’t get as much of her homework finished if she had to “watch” her brother. (It definitely had nothing to do with the fact that she left about 1.5 weeks of homework to the last night…nope, it was all my fault… (She’s done now and ready to hand it in tomorrow morning!!) They’re the final 2 units. Now all she has to do is retake the social 30 diploma exam. Then, she’s enrolled in English 30 (also upgrading). She plans on applying for an arts degree, to start. She has her eyes on a big legal career, which she is definitely smart enough to do. She would need to revamp her entire study habits, and, well, her entire life would change. So, one step at a time. My point was that I still was rushing while shopping, because Tay wanted me home. So, I guess no down time, just bed – which, technically is lying down, so down time kind of works…either way I am exhausted and I’m going to go to bed. Yaaaawn Yaaaawn…night night…π΄π΄…π€π€π€π€π€π€π€π€

Hi Ursula.
I wasn’t thinking about immediate family specifically. We do enjoy each other and our time together. I actually find it sad, how stressed the holidays make me feel…
We should meet for coffee or you can come here for a visit. That’d be really niceπ. Thanx so much for always reading my blog and always having something kind to say. It’s always much appreciated!! You’re 100% sweetness!!
