Cascading hills drag her away

Her mind open like a butterfly 

Imagination takes control

As she drifts up towards the sky 

Talking to birds who fly with her

Singing in tune with her song

Floating on the backs of dragons 

Where nothing can go wrong 

She yearns for such reassurance in reality 

Confounded by the hate and pain 

That she so sensitively feels in her heart

Despite her efforts, she can’t remain

Closing her eyes with a sigh of relief 

She escapes back into her fairytale 

A land of wonder, full of good 

And she dives away on the back of a whale
