Too tired today. It felt like a write-off day! I have been zoned out completely. My eyes are red and poofy. I look like a “stoner!” ( as we called the smoking/druggy kids in high school.) So, how things change and shift. I’m now the “stoner.” I know my medication is sedating, that’s why my highest dose is at bed-time. However, I feel the heaviness of the sedatives all day long. And, my stupid feet are still poofed up. The pharmacy went through my meds & possible responses and they said that it isn’t a side-effect related to any of them. If my gabapentin was recently raised there may be concern, but I’ve been on that for a long time at the same dose, since prior to my brain surgery & it’s coming up on two years since the surgery. It’s strange that it still aches & hurts where my incision was, sometimes horribly. So so so weird… But, I’m so used to pain somewhere on my body, that I almost don’t believe myself… some times it’s like this is someone else’s mangled life…
To help with research and treatment for Trigeminal Neuralgia please go to http://www.tnnme.com (Trigeminal Neuralgia and Me)sign a petition to have the WorldHealth Organization (WHO) add Trigeminal Neuralgia (TN) to their “Health Topic List.
Hopefully one day I’ll get it right, or at least have fun, while about it I write!!
