When I want to sneak-up and say, “surprise!!”
Why can there not be shadows in life?
So I’d see more than sorrow in your eyes.
Why can’t it just be love?
It should at least be life’s first rule!

This world’s too sad and cruel.
No maybes, just do!
What’s there to think about?

But how do I wade through my doubt??
Why can’t we just do nothing?
There’s always way too much to do!!!

Why can there not be shadows in life? Straight from the mouth of my five year old son, literally!! Really, the first three lines in each section above are (word-for-word) things that my 5 year old son has said! Kids bring abundance and joy!
So, 👨👩👧👦(my family) + 👩🏼 (me) = abundance and joy
