Just sat outside with my family. Had fresh sandwiches. All of us sitting together eating and talking. No tv, phones, iPods, etc. No arguments. Just a nice, quiet visit without interference from anything. It just felt very calm and relaxed, which I must admit is rare – lol!! Usually with 5 of us in our small house it’s pretty loud and busy. Everyone has something that has to get done or somewhere to go. There is always something going on. So, after my hubby & the kids spent a few hours outside, mowing the lawn, raking, weed-sacking, etc., I made thesandwiches and we all stayed outside. It was very nice! Then, after eating, the kids played basketball, we just watched, for almost an hour! It was really nice. They were running, laughing and playing. They somehow made it work, despite the age gap! I really enjoyed it! I usually feel like I have to either beg or force the girls to play with their brother! There’s always something else that they would rather do (and for the most part, I don’t really blame them because he is so much younger than them!) But this just sort of spontaneously happened, without any pleading or encouragement from us!! Weird but nice. I do understand that they wouldn’t want to spend hours playing with their brother, when he is 5 and our oldest turning 18 In a couple weeks and our middle child will be 13 at the end of the month. It’s not like they’ve a whole lot in common! It was just a nice evening. One of those diamonds that just appears, without any fuss! Nice๐
To help with research and treatment for Trigeminal Neuralgia please go to http://www.tnnme.com (Trigeminal Neuralgia and Me) to sign a petition to have the World Health Organization (WHO) add Trigeminal Neuralgia (TN) to their “Health Topic List.
Hopefully one day Iโll get it right, or at least have fun, while about it I write!!
