Whispered secrets laced with poison

Dripping from her tear-filled eyes

Quiet shouting breaking barriers

Pierces too deeply to be heard

Feeling weakened by his attitude

Gripping her heart with his iron gaze

Pensively she backs away

Racing ahead inside her sheltered heart

Facing the beginning of the end

With a lump of hope in her throat
