Such a busy day

I don’t have much to say

I watched my daughter dance

(While I was wearing uncomfortable pants!!!)

She did so very well

And not one of them fell 

First is what they got

With a gold to add to the pot

I just love to watch so much

My heart is what gets touched

That didn’t even rhyme

But it doesn’t have to every time

I need to go to bed

And lie down my sleepy head

This weekend is going to be long

And not getting enough sleep is wrong

If I don’t get to bed

Tomorrow I’ll feel like the walking dead

So goodbye for right now 

This is all my brain will allow…
