MRI Day

This morning I got up after my second alarm went off at 5:15am. I called my daughter in her room to make sure that she was also awake. Then I got dressed and ready to go. I went downstairs to the kitchen and started making us tea to bring with us. She hadn’t come up yet and we had to leave for her MRI in 15 minutes, so I went down to her bedroom in the basement and she had fallen back to sleep. So I woke her up again. This time she actually got up! I went back upstairs and finished making the tea and had some toast. She came upstairs and took all of her piercings out. Then she quickly had some yogurt and we left. We drove to the Misericordia hospital on the west end of the city for her MRI. It was easy to find and parking was also simple. We went inside and admitting was the first place that we saw. So, they registered her and told us where we had to go. It was not that difficult to find, again. They got her in relatively quickly, in fact we were back home before my son had even left for school for the day!! I was able to drive him there. When I got back I helped my daughter put her one earring in, it was not very easy to do so. Then she went back to bed. She said that she couldn’t stay asleep last night and that she only got 1.5 hours of sleep last night. I got changed into my workout clothes and then watched The Good Doctor with my hubby. It was a great episode! Then I went downstairs and walked on the treadmill for 72 minutes. When I finished, I came upstairs and did my yoga DVD. Then I had a shower. When I got out of the shower, I did some laundry and I woke up my daughter. Then I got dressed and went to pick up my kids from school. We got home and for once on a school day my daughter didn’t have dance because of the Power Week schedule. So sat with my son and oldest daughter on the couch. My son and I played a game. He was on the iPad and I was on my phone. Then I got my comfy clothes back on. My son and I had a nice cuddle. Then I went downstairs to the basement and did more laundry. We had supper and my daughter and I watched a few shows. It was nice not having to drive to dance for a day. Then I got my son ready for bed. I went on my phone for a while, but I’m really tired from getting up so much earlier than usual. So I am going to get ready for bed.
